Yes. And I'll march to make sure they do.

Rocket...don't think you would have to. No way LSU fires Miles unless there is a total meltdown.....a loosing record. Even then the media in this country would crucify LSU if they did.

I'd like to think we can win at least 8-9 games.

I highly doubt we go 7-5 or worse.

We can easily lose to:
-UNC
-West Virginia
-Florida
-Alabama
-Auburn
-Arkansas

9-3? Good chance he's fired as well

I'd take that bet.

This name is probably mentioned on the Rant as many times as Saban and Miles and more than any other coach in the country

7-5 or worse is more likely than 8-4 or better.

I wish there was a probability generator that I could utilize, because while utterly ridiculous, there is no way to refute this; of course, that also means there is no basis for the statement to begin with.

-UNC - had a worse offense than LSU last year and many are questioning the legitimacy of their defense.

-West Virginia - has no semblance of defense and no offense outside of Noel Devine

-Florida - lost several defensive starters, and will not only be starting a new QB, but adjusting their entire offensive scheme.. all of this, (as of now) without their head coach.

-Alabama - will be potent on offense, but the defense outside of Donta' Hightower is laughable.

-Auburn - on their way up, but nothing is significantly better than last year's team that we stomped into the ground.

-Arkansas - Mallett should be good, but we have an elite secondary and Arkansas showed absolutely no defense last year

The only thing a half mile in the air are some LSU fans, real and pretend, jumping off cliffs over a 9-3 regular season leading to a major bowl invite, 3rd place finish in the SEC, and a national ranking.

I wish there was a Rant for non-delusional LSU fans only.

There was one a couple years back but the Kool Aide Drinkers ran off the ranters. Slowly that board died. The last post on that board was in January 2010. It's still available but no one visits.

Tell me a difference. Coker won with Davis players. MIles won with Saban's players. A downfall is whats happening.

The answer no. In fact he can go 4-8 and he won't be fired unless there is some huge scandal.

If any of you have any dealings with the alumni/athletic club/boosters...then you know the answer all ready concerning "Will Les Miles be fire for a sub par season or a 7-5 season"...the answer is...no...he will quit. Les Miles will seek a new job before he gets fired for an 8-4 or 7-5 season.
