He would be a great hire. Top 15 recruiting class!

Tyndall can recruit Nationally.

In all the years Jones has been at NT he has never won an NCAA T. game nor landed a top 30 recruiting class. Why would you take him over Tyndall?

Look at the whole resume. Look at the ability to recruit all over the country. What have any of the (realistic) candidates done? Wake up Tiger fans...LSU basketball is not Kentucky basketball.

Agreed. Bball here is just not that attractive right now. We are more than likely going to have to go with someone who wants to build with us from the ground up. We lost Hamilton. We could have a transfer or two. We don't have any scorers. Louisiana hasn't been a hotbed of talent lately. Lose one game and the fans turn on you. We are basically at rock bottom. Let's be real about this. We are not UK, UNC, UCLA, DUKE, KAN, Cuse, MARyland, IND, Ariz, or nobody close to that level. We are football first, they are bball first schools.

We may get lucky and get the name that some of you want, but we have look at all of our options lower expectations with this hire. All to it.

Tyndall wouldn't be my first choice but I'd be excited with his hire.

He can recruit. He's had some success at a small school. He has big school assistant experience. All pluses.

Tyndall is not one of my top choices, but I would not be upset with him as our coach. I would be upset with our administration for not being able to pull a bigger name, but Tyndall is a solid coach who will be big time at some point.

He's bigger than Steve Prohm, who gets more pub.

Tyndall took over a team that was 4-24. 5 years later he beats arguably the best coach to ever coach in SEC in Rick Pitino. That same Louisville team that Tyndall beat a year ago just went to the Final Four (only adding one player who played significant minutes in Chane Behanan). Tyndall can coach people.
