Mississippi State's inability to adjust after they were consistently beat deep all game was why the ball kept going down field. Which is a good thing, if teams play us that way then we will take the shots down field. But this is going to open up the inside run game with our running backs with teams fearing those down field shots.

Mason Taylor is Daniels go to guy every game that he feels comfortable with.

Is he really? He has 2 games where he had more receptions than Nabers, the Auburn (3 vs 2) and Georgia (6 vs 5) games.

Looked at on the year last season he was third (38) behind Nabers (74) and Boutte (42)

He even threw a couple balls with receivers still in their routes. Just a couple though.

When he begins to hit receivers 'in stride', that will be lethal.

No but Markaway's blocking left a lot to be desired. If he makes his block on the bubble screen to Anderson he might have taken it to the house. BK was livid after that play. This has been a recurring problem with Markaway. I know he's only a freshman but we lose that when Taylor is out also.

Mason Taylor is injury prone. He was and has been out quite a bit due to injury. If memory serves me right.

Which one is the bigger head scratcher? Using Perkins how we did against FSU or having a safety one-on-one again and again against Nabers?

I’ll go with Perkins simply because it harmed rather than helped us ??

No MSU game plan was to take away the short passes so we went deep.

This is definitely not true. They were playing back majority of the game. That’s why the underneath stuff was open all game. Jayden did a great job of taking advantage on the few times they didn’t.
