No.

It doesn't matter who the QB is. We will not stop them at all. The Oregon offense is Chavis' worst nightmare.

And JJ is 1 to play 1. Our offense will be the same. However, Oregon will not run up the score, but will probably beat us something like 21-10

I feel pretty confident in our chances. But let's be real. We don't know what these teams will be like next year. There will be attrition, early draft entrants, injuries, arrests (hopefully just at Oregon), recruiting, etc. Everyone thought Oregon was going to have trouble after losing Masoli. Everyone here was predicting LSU would go 8-4 (some worse).

My opinion is that while we lose some key guys, every team does. But we return 9 starters on offense with multiple other contributors who may grow to be better than the starters by the fall and 7 starters on defense plus multiple contributors.

We are young but experienced. We have lots of depth. I haven't felt this good about our next year since I did in anticipation of the 2007 season.

I've seen LSU play against Auburn and Ole Miss who both run a similar offense to Oregon's. Put it this way, there will be lots of touchdowns.

I really do think it will be a pretty good game, but we should win in my opinion.

Oregon-38
LSU-28

Yeah and I saw Oregon get smoked by Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. It's not that this year means nothing. But it doesn't mean as much as everyone thinks it does.

Very true. However, I wouldn't call a 26-17 game getting smoked but to each his own. I'm an Oregon homer. I'm going to go with UO. Especially if Les keeps Crowton around....

I have little hope. Although Les miles has only been blown out a handful of times.

I don't think Chavis knows how to stop Pac 10 teams and mobile quarterbacks.

1. that's true.

2. LSU has to move the ball some, and if they can hold it for a long time, all the better. Who amongst us thinks LSU will be able to move the ball consistently? No one? right.

I dont know what Oregon has coming back.

The game is 8 months away, but you know, huh.

Of course you also knew that the LSU O couldn't handle the Bama D and that LSU would go 6-6.

Why don't we see how the bowl game goes, how recruiting ends up, and how spring and fall drills go before we throw the towel in on our team like some nervous Nancy suffering with the doom and gloom syndrome.

Depemds on if the entire Oregon coaching staff bolts. No disrespect to our players, but they are a different kind of team than what they have ever seen AND YES that includes both AU and Ole Piss. Their tempo is incredible.

What the heck are you guys scared of? We played the number one team in the nation to a one score game in their house this year. Stats don't matter its the scoreboard. We can match up with anybody there.

Are Oregon and LSU going to field the same exact teams they've fielded this year? Of course not. Both teams will be different than they are this year in some way. More than likely, LSU will be ranked ahead of them going into that game. Just saying, anything can happen and probably will.

I'm not throwing in the towel on the team at all. I'm not scared, nervous, etc.

I just think that Oregon is way better coached, and runs a scheme that will give us fits. Bottom line is that I think that Oregon is just flat out better than us.

I think we could score a lot of points on them with a new OC, but Chavis has shown me nothing to believe that we will be able to stop them. We are so poorly out of position versus spread teams its ridiculous. My only hope is that our D-Line just absolutely abuses their O-Line. I think that is our only shot.

Then again, if Crowton is back it won't matter because we won't score more than 20. Nothing will change with this current staff. We will have good talent and a solid 2011 season. However Oregon could very well beat the frick out of us.
