Do you think Fulton is eligible this upcoming year?

I hope he is but with O saying he is unsure it makes me doubtful. I would hate to see yet another 5 star bust at LSU.

I don't know if "eligible" is the question.
But, I'm pretty doubtful given the lack of information.
Nothing has been said, but it looks like it's not going to get resolved in the positive at least until after the Spring semester. My guess is that it's a long shot that it works out, unfortunately.
This story is, by far, the biggest offseason story. It's amazing to me how little it is being discussed.

It’s not being discussed because of what you just said... nobody knows what is going on due to lack of information.

I guess. But, typically, important stories get moved forward because the media asks questions. The Baton Rouge media seems content to just let this one work itself out. I don't get it. It's probably the #3 unknown going into the season behind QB play and RB play.

His dad is a great guy. He was always honest and respectful on this board. His son is a great athlete. It would be a crying shame for this well educated young man to leave LSU. Please Mud get involved.

What the hell does a kid do to be ineligible for 2 years?

Per several of his tweets a month or two ago, he plans to atone for being ineligible last season.
I have been told his suspension had nothing to do with smoking pot.

amen. we need him, yes. but more important is that the young man needs to grow up and embrace his opportunity instead of squandering it. as a parent, I feel for mudbone as I know he wants the best for his son. growing up is hard and it's harder for some than others.

This setting and example BS is getting old with LSU. Alabama takes in kids that don't qualify at LSU (Lacy), plays kids that were arrested with stolen guns and drugs (Robinson and Hootie). As a side note the starting cornerbacks at Alabama will probably be Savion (still don't really know the whole story with that transfer) and Surtain (a guy that we were sure was coming after recruiting for three years). This Fulton fiasco needs to end, I'm pretty sure he would be on the field at that 'other' school.

It cause they are talented. They are basically #1 or #2 in the country at their positions. Makes thing a lot easier to coach a kid that is the best at their position

Nick DGAF if they smoke weed. That alone is a critical recruiting tool
