Do you think 2018 LSU Football Has Talent To Win the SEC?
Posted by DeltaDoc

I do. I think they have the overall talent to win the SEC. Moreover, the toughest two games are at home.
They actually have a better shot to win the SEC this year than next with attrition and tougher conference schedule in 2019.
The talent is there to win it. Even with a road loss to Auburn, beat Bama and UGA af home, win the other SEC games and you win the West.
It can be done with this talent.

Of course, but we generally always have the talent to do so. Those of you pushing this rebuild narrative are sorely mistaken.
The questions are do we have the experience, support, discipline and focus to do so, extending from the coaching staff down.

We've always had enough talent to win the SEC... the problem is the coaching

I agree. Saw that depth chart yesterday and I seriously don't see a lack of depth anywhere. We're gonna frick some shite up this year

Not true at all. Can’t win without a decent qb. This year could be a lot better just for one position talent upgrade.

Auburn won the west last year with losses to Clemson and LSU, so anything is possible. The key is to just beat Bama and everything else will fall in line.

Is Nick Marshall better than every LSU QB since '08? Or was his skillset showcased better by his coaches?

Easier schedule, better QBs than 2011-
Ran the table that year!
If O doesn’t piss in his gumbo, why not?

Marshall had a very nice skill set. AJ and BH lacked a lot more than coaching.
With Mett our D was quite poor.
If Burrow and the O gels, this could be our most complete team since 2011.

Overall though we’ve had the talent. Look at all the guys drafted in the NFL from LSU. The talent has always been there but we’ve never really had talent at one position and that’s at QB.
