He figured out how to lose to a Pitt team that didn't even qualify for a bowl game last season.
He has been gone from Georgia for two years. In the second year Georgia played for the national championship. He is TRULY a GREAT coach even in absentia.

He beat LSU last time he coached against them.

I'm not confident because Les Miles > Mark Richt >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ed Orgeron.

And Kirby kicked Saban’s arse in recruiting 2 years in a row something the dick you ride couldn’t do.
What’s your point? This wasn’t about Natties, this was about sending them back to the dark ages like Miles did...
He has won 74% of his games as a head coach...
And he WON THE WALTER CAMP COACH OF THE YEAR LAST YEAR AHEAD OF SMART.
As a reminder we are comparing a head coach with a winning record of 40% as a head coach... you cannot be firing shots at Richt when we have what we have?
Who would you honestly believe Tiger Nation would want more? Richt or Orgeron?
His record speaks for itself. While he may not have the skins on the wall of Natties, he has plenty of skins on the wall in the SEC including a shellacking of Miles on a couple occasions.
Just as a reminder of how good he is, let’s take a look..
Championships
As Head Coach:
2 SEC (2002, 2005)
5 SEC Eastern Division (2002–2003, 2005, 2011–2012)
1 ACC Coastal Division (2017)
As Offensive Coordinator:
7 ACC (1993-2000)
2 National Championships (1993, 1999)
Awards
2× SEC Coach of the Year (2002, 2005)
ACC Coach of the Year (2017)
Walter Camp Coach of the Year Award (2017)

Gonna be interesting to see how many Canes fans make the trip to Dallas. After all, they may be a bandwagon fan base, but they’re a national fan base.

LSU advantage is if Joe starts there is no film on him except what's on Youtube that everyone has seen. Miami has no clue what Steveo is going to run. Our D should be the shite!!!

You lying sack of shite. Alabama had the #1 class in 2017.

I was replying to some idiot who said Richt does NOT know how to lose. I was pointing out that he lost to a Pitt team that had a losing record last season. He DOES know how to lose. I also pointed out Georgia's almost instantaneous increase in success once Richt had departed Athens.
quote:
As a reminder we are comparing a head coach with a winning record of 40% as a head coach... you cannot be firing shots at Richt when we have what we have?
WE ARE? Like I said I was responding to a single post by a single idiot. Not comparing anything except their idiotic statement.
quote:
Who would you honestly believe Tiger Nation would want more? Richt or Orgeron?
Who cares? Richt is the coach at Miami and Eaux is the coach at LSU. Richt in all of his greatness had the same record at Miami in his first season as Eaux had in his at LSU.

Jesus, how long was he there? Didn't win the SEC in over 10 years AT GEORGIA ???? How the hell does that happen. Kirby played for a NC in his second year.

5 SEC Eastern Division (2002–2003, 2005, 2011–2012)
That is really a lot more impressive than people may think. It's hard to beat teams like Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, South Carolina and Missouri on a year to year basis. Talk about murderer's row !!!
quote:
Walter Camp Coach of the Year Award (2017)
Wow really? He lost to a team, got dominated, by a team with a losing record. You would think Frost would have won it.

E.J. Kuale would like to give tCanes a “reminder.”
Posted on 5/31/18 at 10:00 pm to 7nette
They are favored and more experienced. I just hope that we win. They'll be top 10 and we'll be 20-25 or unranked.

Richt isn't Larry Coker
Richt was fired for his inability to make it to the national championship then his replacement proceeded to take his old team to the national championship in his first year with no head coaching experience. Richt is no Saban, not sure what the infatuation is with him from some on this board.

You lying sack of shite. Alabama had the #1 class in 2017.
BTW - Miles had the #2 class in 2016. Left that team LOADED.

Maybe the reference was to Miami going back to a LOSING PROGRAM, but hey way to take it out of context douche. Richt has NEVER HAD A LOSING SEASON. So no, in the context of a losing program, Richt doesn’t know how to lose. His success speaks for itself.
How many has Orgeron had out of 4 as head coach?
Don’t answer it. We know.

Who would you honestly believe Tiger Nation would want more? Richt or Orgeron? Who cares?
Everybody by dick riders like you. Nobody wants him as the LSU head coach but cheap arse Fieldon Alexander, Joe Alleva and douches like you.

So Spurrier was a terrible head coach at SCe AND YOU LEFT OFF THR FACT THAT URBAN WAS AT UF. IMO the second best SEC coach in the last 20 years. He won 2 fricking Natties at UF dumbass. UGA had a hard time with them as did EVERYBODY.
Then your dumbass self left off Fulmer at UT. You know the guy that coached against Saban in 2002 for the SEC championship?
quote:
Jesus, how long was he there? Didn't win the SEC in over 10 years AT GEORGIA ???? How the hell does that happen. Kirby played for a NC in his second year.
AND RICHT WON THE SEC his second season. The difference is, there was no CFP for him or Miles for that matter, otherwise they play for titles.

Forgot?? You are a lying piece of shite and got called on it. Now you are crawfishing like a little bitch. Just admit it like any 10 year old kid with half a lick of honesty would do.

I'm sure there were a lot of happy LSU fans when Eaux was named permanent head coach. More than the five people you made up another lie about.

You use the word "dick" a lot. Are you maybe obsessed with something other than Mark Richt?
quote:
So Spurrier was a terrible head coach at SCe
Got Darn man. You are either really desperate to change the subject or very scatterbrained. Spurrier ????
quote:
AND YOU LEFT OFF THR FACT THAT URBAN WAS AT UF.
I was pointing out Richt's ineptitude at Georgia. If Richt was as great a coach as you say, shouldn't he be able to make Georgia competitive with Florida? It's not like he was coaching at Kentucky or Vanderbilt. We're talking Georgia here.
quote:
He won 2 fricking Natties at UF dumbass. UGA had a hard time with them as did EVERYBODY.
So before it was "he doesn't know how to lose". Now he only doesn't know how to lose if he doesn't have to play Urban Meyer?? How long has Urban been gone from Florida?
Maybe you should edit your posts to recognize Urban Meyer instead of his bitch.
quote:
Then your dumbass self left off Fulmer at UT. You know the guy that coached against Saban in 2002 for the SEC championship?
You are mental man. Fulmer ??? Saban ??? What does that have to do with the idiotic statement of Richt not knowing how to lose.
I know I forgot to bring up the Beatles and Abbey Road.
quote:
AND RICHT WON THE SEC his second season
And didn't win one between his last in 2005 and his final year at GEORGIA in 2015. His replacement who had never been a head coach took over at GEORGIA and in his second year won the SEC and played for a national championship.
But yeah, Richt is the best coach EVER !!!!

The difference is, there was no CFP for him or Miles for that matter, otherwise they play for titles.
I can think of quite a few teams and coaches who won titles before the CFP. You have mentioned some of them in your post I am responding to. Coaches like Fulmer, Meyer, Spurrier, Saban, Miles, etc etc etc.
Richt does not fit in with those guys, even though he was probably at a better program than all of them. But hey he's the greatest ever and doesn't know how to lose !!!

I will reintroduce y'all to Canepoker and my debut on TD.com.
This started the fight in the tunnel...
DBowe was playing catch with a ThugU ballboy(ThugU stamped ball). Game ends, Bowe takes off with the ball. Ball boy and a trainer give chase to the tunnel(left of the crowd white longsleeve shirt/green hat and green shirt guy in 4th pic). Beatdown ensues. I bet LSU won the ball.

So by this logic, the fact that you respond with something like this every time someone disagrees with you:

You are mental man
must mean that you’re projecting? Because if anyone is an obsessed whackjob on this board, it’s you. You need to shut the frick up and go away, you’re actively turning the fanbase against Orgeron with your weird, obsessive, sleazy bullshite
