I think we have a great shot. We just have to eliminate the mistakes and big plays. I think we should line up in the Power I and run it down their throats. Our QB this year is not ready to run the spread. Let him hand it off 70% of the time to our stable of RBs.

the fact that Saban is their coach should be encouraging to LSU fans that remember anything other than the title. Saban's teams are always good for at least 1 loss in a game they should have won (see Florida and Zook in 2003, UAB in 2000, Ole Miss in 2001, numerous games last year with Bama). Based on the way things are going, popular opinion will be that Bama should win this game, but if LSU can keep from turning it over, we have a great chance to beat Bama. Sure UGA put up some points, but 21 were gifted.

Bama's run defense scares me the most. If they can shut down our rushing game like Florida did, we lose.

If we can run on them, we have a good shot!

Based on our performance against the only two teams that were worth a damn, don't look to good! I say no...Hope I am wrong.

Seems to me that every team this year has had their best offensive game of the year against LSU. Given that, plus how well Bama's defense is playing, I really don't see the game being very close.

I think we hang until half and they pull away like Georgia. Now that could change if we have a crowd that does not give up on them.

THAT ????? YES we have a shot..pretty gd ch. even?????

But not the way LSU has been playin?????

I dont think bama is that gd,(they destroyed UGA) (thats disturbing) but we are not showing our true potential @ this pt. so I GIVE LSU the edge in death valley............................................................our luck/playing sit. has to chg???

I guess that wishful but IDK if bama has been truly tested...UGA as mentioned was a arse beating and they were never in it???????????

My grandmother could shred the LSU secondary with her receivers rolling in wheelchairs.

Death valley in the afternoon!?!? Not so much. Death Valley at night...Different story!! I still give a slight edge to Bama, but I'm always optimistic. Les could have a trick up his sleeve...or we could always pray for a rain delay and have the game start at 7

What?

I know you guys love "Deaf/Death Valley" at night, but check the records, I don't think Bama will be intimidated.

Nick Saban always loses at least one game, but Les Miles always loses at least two.

You really believe that the team was looking past Georgia? You're crazy. The answer to the question is that we have the talent and potential to beat Bama, but judging by what I've seen performance-wise so far, we'll probably lose. Bama is a good team.

Yep. But of course, since everyone thinks the sky is falling, many think the game won't even be close.

I expect it to be a high scoring game that will pretty much come down to the end. Bama never seems to be able to put two good quarters together and if that game is close, we have a very good chance of winning it in the second half.

There will be so much hype and excitement around this game, I expect it to be a very hard fought, close game. Don't know if we'll win it but, I think it can go either way.

If 'Bama beats us, that means they'll have gone 5-0 on the road this year (including the Clemson game in Atlanta). Very damn impressive. Still, I think we've got a shot, 'Bama's offense isn't as explosive as UF's, and if our offense shows up we could have a game.

There is always a chance and our guys are damn talented. BUT, Bama has been playin' some very disciplined football.

I am afraid we are going to be true underdogs in this one.........hell, that may help.

IF our safeties et al can manage to not blow a coverage, then we do have a shot.
