Yes, usually do look blue. And caps are all kinds of different shades of purple and blue. Batting helmets are blue, as well.

They aren't blue but they sure aren't purple either.
Look at the color underneath the LSU score.

I just received my brand new Samsung S25 Ultra phone last week and it is an awesome phone. LSU's uniform looks like a purple blue to me, but still mostly purple.
