Close. 3-0 and 77-0

Carlos Carson had 5 tds and Ensminger was the QB.
Just like Ed it was my first game in TS. (I think I read that about him).

I missed the 3-0 game. It was an afternoon game and pouring rain.

The game was a shootout and the last team to have the ball won... Burrow was brilliant and what impressed me was that he rose to the occasion. He played his best against his best opponent.
Burrow told reporters after that championship game it was the worst day of his life, even though anyone watching would have said he was amazing. He's a competitor like few others.

Even though Burrow looked better in every spring game it was almost like he was invisible there. Maybe it was because Joe was Toms guy and Urban felt like Joe wasn’t his guy.
Truth, Burrow did look better in every Spring Game, and I thought he out performed Haskins when both were backups and both came into the same game, as happened a few times.

Had Herman stayed as OC and QB coach, I think Joe would have got his chance, but I never thought that Herman's successor Beck would help develop Joe the way Herman would have.

Ask a Nebraska fan what they think of Beck during his time there and you wouldn’t be surprised why 2015 was a lost year in spite of all the NFL draft choices OSU had on the team.

Think about it:
Oklahoma/ Jalen vs Bama /Tua
LSU/Jeaux vs Ohio State

In a YouTube video Tim May interview with Jimmy Burrow, Jimmy said that Meyer wouldn't sign Joe on Herman's assessment alone. Meyer said he had to see Joe throw, but never arraigned a time to see Joe.

Then, Herman found out that Nick Saban was coming to Athens to visit the Burrows the next week. Herman told Meyer about Saban. Meyer signed Joe the next day (without seeing him throw).

[It was also mentioned in the Tim May vid that Herman was sent all over the country in 2013 and '14 to look at 5-Star QBs. But kept coming back to Burrow as the best of the bunch.]

They do cheer for him but it has turned from happy for him to “you guys should thank us.” That’s more the type of people in Columbus than football related though

Thanks to all the OSU fans that posted your stories here. Really amazing to know fans of other schools still pull hard for Joe Burrow. He has become a lot of LSU fans favorite player. I know he’s mine. He a real leader and a great talent. He has the heart of a warrior.

If in some alternative universe OSU was led by a LSU transfer QB, and was a possible future opponent, then it's all about kicking that arse regardless.

I work with a guy who was an all-American at Ohio State, both football and baseball. He is a great guy. He loves the Buckeyes, of course, but every time I see him he wants to talk about Burrow and LSU. He definitely pulls for the Tigers now, but I think he would have to pick OSU in the head to head.

Very so often a sports fan has his “man crush”

When Paul O’Neill was traded by the Reds to the Yankees - I was all in on Yankees - Joe Torre said O’Neill turned out to be the Heart and Soul of those Yankee teams
When Brett Farve went to the Vikings- I was ?? % Vikings - he would play a game with only one arm and no legs and find a way to win
I scouted Burrow in HS for matchups in the state football playoffs- son of a bitch caught his own pass for a TD against us in the regional finals
I knew he was the best in the state but that made him omnipotent
Once he left the Buckeyes- I am all in on LSU
Tigers and Buckeyes in finals I’m all Tigers
All three of those above have the same trait- they are crazy sons of bitches who will leave it all in the field

OT- OTB with Jordy and T-Bob, AFR with Moscana blow away anything the Buckeyes have for coverage
Whiskey & Wine- Rivals Howard Stern

As Moscona said this past weekend “ I don’t love Joe Burrow I’m in love with Joe Burrow”
I get it

I think it's because he left in such a classy way... And nobody could blame him...HE WAS JUST TO GOOD TO SIT. heck of a dilemma for OSU, a plethora of riches... This might be the greatest quarterback in LSU's rich tradition.

just got back from a wedding, half of the folks there were Ohio State alumni/fans, and we were watching OSU/NW, general sentiment, from my perspective was, we're following him and are wishing him success to looks like we let one slip away, how tf did that happen?
