They are going to try to run it with rookies and out of town cops this weekend. The cops I know are saying someone is going to get hurt. If you see one ask them and they will tell you it’s going to be a dumpster fire.

Why would they use out of town cops?

If it's different than the normal contraflow I'd say that's a GREAT thing.

The usual contraflow plan is atrocious.

I have never seen a contra flow successfully pulled off around tiger stadium. Just bring some beer and wait for an hour after the game is the best option

A lot of BRPD refused the vaccination.. They have been told to look for work elsewhere. They've brought in and quickly trained ones that are vaxxed.

Post game traffic is about 60% of my reasoning for not going to as many games now.

I can stand up from my seat in Tiger Stadium, walk to my car, drive with contraflow from the Ag Center to Stanford, and enter my house in 25 minutes total for fully attended games. It works for me. What they have done this year in sparsely attended games has taken me longer.

Most BRPD officers are refusing to work LSU games. The word is a bunch are calling in sick.

This may or may not be true but it has nothing to do with LSU’s issues.

From my understanding, the “pay raise” Broome and Paul like to parade out as their biggest achievement basically fricked BRPD out of the pay they made working the LSU games so they’re refusing to work it now. Not to mention they barely have enough officers in uniform patrol to staff a shift.

This is assuming I've ever trusted contraflow, which I have not done, ever.

It was horrible v central Michigan . We parked in hayfield and was forced south on river road. We left after the third. There may have been 20k people in the stands and it took us every bit of an hour to cross the bridge headed back to lafayette.

This will probably improve everything about gameday.

Oh, Hells bells! First they are not allowed to keep all the drugs and money they confiscate. Now they're going to take away the detail racket the union has been running? What's next? Accountability?

The whole department called in sick for the game. They don’t have to work, it’s a detail.
