The Cameron firing? The Pete Jenkins hiring? the BDP firing? Promoting SE to offensive CO temporarily? The all-time offensive records LSU set under his watch? What has transpired that would make someone skeptical?

This has to be the all time dumbest excuse made. He has the potential to be great but can't motivate a undefeated team that has a chance at a n. c./play off berth if he beats Navy and SMU. Two inferior teams. You guys roast our coaches for not winning by enough much less losing to shitty teams. You would be roasting Tom, I kiss grown men, Herman too. Straight up bs

Exactly. I still find it amazing how there are actual lsu fans that say ,"we tried to get jimbo and herman, but they said no. We went with the 3rd choice."
The fact that Ed Orgeron was the 3rd choice is what's infuriating. He has ,literally,no qualifications to be Vandy's coach, let alone lsu's coach. He is a great dline coach and a great recruiter but he has never ran a successful offense, defense, or program.
Hell i wouldve understood giving Aranda the job. He was a great up and coming defensive coordinator that has had success at 2 different programs.

Do you like watching LSU lose with top talent each year?

I cant understand how any lsu fan could be ok with this hire, let alone be happy.ive seen multiple lsu posters saying Orgeron is the man to take us back to the championship. Its mind blowing.
In 2014 we won as many sec games as Ed Orgeron has won in his entire career. We just hired a coach that has a losing record to vandy.

Yes, I am talking about that guy who happened to be on the staff when Urban Meyer won his third title?

This is the reason we needed a seriously talented head coach and not a cheerleader!

When you compare the likes of a strong strategic head coach (i.e. Meyer, Saban, Harbaugh etc...), they make their staff stronger by their ability to set strategy and make corrections to coaching direction as needed. Bottom line, they are great coaches along with being great administrators.

And nick saban won more than 7 games one time at Michigan State. I guess lsu was making a mistake hiring him.

Exactly.

We fired Miles because being just a great recruiter and great motivator isnt enough in today's sec west.
So we went and hired a great recruiter and great motivator. Its fricking pathetic.
Alleva needs to be fired before he can make anymore hires.

If youre so happy about those offensive records set against triple digit defenses, why arent you in favor of Ensminger being permanent OC?

Who is this "WE" you speak of? Do you think ALL of the LSU fans would have been happy if LSU had hired the guy who just finished 6th in his conference? The guy who lost to Navy, SMU and Memphis in the last month and a half? The guy who was favored by 16 against Navy and 23 against SMU(and lost by 22 while gaining 303 total yards)?

No the guy that went 18-1 in his 1st 19 games and has beaten multiple top 10 teams.

Uh nobody was clammoring to fire Miles in order to replace him with a career DL coach who has a losing record as a HC. We wanted to get somebody BETTER, not WORSE!!!

Think McFly, Think

Just a bunch of coach haters.

I've been an LSU fan for about 50 years. think about it. LSU fans love the shite about their coach if he exceeds expectations (which is seldom). then, when expectations are raised, they HATE the coach. the coach never does anything right. EVERY time the offense fails to make a first down, FIRE THE COACH; HE'S A DUMBASS; ANYBODY COULD SEE WE SHOULD HAVE PASSED THERE; AN IDIOT COULD SEE WE SHOULD HAVE RAN THE BALL, etc, etc, etc

the only difference is that in today's times, the youth have greatly amplified the name calling and what they call "hyperbole". the coaches accent makes him a buffoon (either miles or orgeron), etc, etc

LSU fans will always hate their coaches, ALWAYS.

Wrong.

All we want is competence, is that really too much to ask?

Don't be fooled-- the Rant is not a real reflection of LSU fans. It's a reflection of the most vocal. Unfortunately, negative fans tend to be louder, not more numerous. So relax and enjoy the down votes.

For years, you wanted miles gone. We could do so much better. Beat this horse to death until the negatiger label was born. Those who supported the coach were labeled pumpers.

The guy is finally fired. You got what you wanted. You got a new coach. It didn't change anything. You are still not happy.

So true. Not matter who is hired for any position coach or the timetable, the masses will not be happy. Unless its Saban, they will bitch and moan. No college wins all their games and are National champion every year. There is only 1 champion each year and LSU is usually in the mix. Would you rather be another team out there? If so, name them? Start cheering for them and get off our site. Understand injuries, bad plays, bad ref calls, make a season. I am always proud to be an LSU fan!
