how could i call an undefeated team bad? some of the players dont seem to be developed at the level a simple lsu fanatic like me thinks they should be. Jefferson for one. some of his passes looked ridiculous. they are finding ways to win, i just pray that les is holding something back for the gauntlet of tough games ahead.

All good things take time to mesh together. We have all of the right people, I believe. It is coming together. Relax.

I'm not saying we need to change the coaches, but the coaches have not prepared the team for the games we have played so far. Aside from a few bright spots, such as the goal-line stand, the team has lacked intensity and motivation. Les Miles keeps talking about we can't run up the middle because everyone stacks the box, but yet we still try it anyway. It is the coach's job to make sure his players are motivated and prepared to play. Miles doesn't need to be like Saban, running around the sidelines like a mad man, but he needs to show at least a little emotion. When the team screws up on the field, he just sits there with his arms crossed as though nothing happened.

Id say right now they would have to be considered middle of the pack in the SEC. Florida and Bama look like the real deal. LSU just gets by Vandy and Miss. State, maybe the worst 2 teams in the SEC. I'd say even with SC, GA, Auburn, Ole Miss, and Ark. so far.

The next two games will tell the tail though.

Inability to execute things you've been working on since the spring.
Fundamnetal decisions. (Helton not kicking the ball out of the back of the endzone on the high snap. Taylor not knocking the ball down on the interception on 4th down. Cost the team field position. Chad Jones fielding a punt inside his five........ Those are just a few from Saturday.
Discipline.
How do you get delay of game penalties running a no huddle?

NO,they aren't a bad football team. They are a poorly coached football team & playing poorly right now. Between piss poor clock management by JJ and Les, poor technique by both the OL & DL & horrible off. Play calling. It all boils down to coaching. Can it get better, yes. I think people are tired of Les Miles and his BS he has been saying we'll get better, but it only gets worse.

We have as much if not more talent than anyone in the country and we play like shite.

Yes, concerned.

I don't think they are bad, but they are definitely out of sync, and probably due a little to the combination of the change to inexperienced players at key postions, and new coaches.

I also think that LSU is not as talented in the OL and DL, despite the high recruiting rankings.

No, this is not a bad football team. They just havent found what their identity yet on offense and defense for that matter.

I will say however, that i think we are closer than it looks. It just takes them figuring out what type of team and what system they want to run. It will be determine when Miles and Crowton get on the same page
