If miles would have put in JL in the game he would still have strong support for doing everything he could have to win the game. JL would not be praised as he is now. Miles let him end his career on a very posistive level.

What a giant pile of horse shite.

Miles' game plan to win the game with JJ's feet and his treatment of Lee are both ironclad examples of Miles' incredibly poor judgment and stubbornness.

It amazes me how some kool-aid drinkers continue to search for anything to explain what Miles did at the end of the season. I don't fully blame their denial of reality. No one wants to admit their coach was actually that bad.

But he was.

I don't think it would have been a bad ending to JL's career. Even if we lost, JL and Les Miles would have been praised for doing everything they could to win the game. JL may not have even made a difference, and the fact is, JJ didnt look any better in production, so why not take him out? LM was not doing it for his players, and if he was he looks like an idiot, no matter how much of a players coach he is.

I still support Les Miles in everything that he was able to do, but this past season, I lost so much respect- I am just glad JJ is gone.

LSU has the highest winning percentage of any school not named Boise State and TCU since Les was hired.

LSU has the 2nd highest graduation rate in the SEC behind Vandy.

Whether you like Les as a person or not, we should be extremely proud of what he has accomplished here.

Coaches will always be evaluated on not only what they actually accomplished (see above) but what they also (within reason) potentially could have accomplished.

Moreover, it is wrongheaded to compare the worst of times as a Tiger, i.e,. Archer/Hallman years, or other teams with us. This is now and we are not them (not saying you did this but just making the point).

You guys are going to give JL a win for the Bama game? Thank God Miles had the balls to pull him. If he didn't, LSU would have been SEC West runner ups. I like Lee, but he was not going to win on 11/5 and I hope most people realize this.

the fricking truth that these morons will never get...JL, bless him, was headed for another four int meltdown game and Miles had the sense to pull his butt before it was too late. he saved our season and, essentially, saved for JL whatever stock he had left with the scouts and a future in football. this three yds and a cloud of dust bullshite is so freakn' stupid it makes sarah palin sound smart. where the frick you you clowns when JR and Matt Flynn were lighting up SEC and BCS defenses with 60yd passes and throwing in the endzone with 7 ticks left against auburn? you couldn't see it then and you don't see it now because when your head is up your arse....you never see the light.

CLM is the 2nd coming of Cholly Mac.Once a game he's going to make tigernation scratch its collective head, and every 2or3 years hes going to do something that makes any sane man say WTF. He's going to win 9,10 games a year and get that bowl invite, and as long as Aleva is cashing those bowl checks he's gonna do just enough to keep his job.So like it or not we're stuck with his dumb arse! If he didn't get canned after Ole Miss or Tenn or Jan. 9 then he ain't ever gettin' fired. We may never be the powerhouse program we could have been under saban ,but at least Leslie gives us something to rant about.

Want to compare their records?

13 > 9,10

Who has more wins than Les in his span as LSU's head coach? Who has the better winning percentage at LSU?
