What?

We've been in THE game 3 times in 10 years. What are you bitching about?

WTF are you talking about?

We've been in the game 3 times in under 10 years. We won it twice.

Get someone to change your diaper.

Yeah, I sure would hate to get to the BCS NG three more times within the next 10 years. That would be awful.

my bad, i mispoke. What I meant to say is that these opportunities cant be taken for granted. My bitch is not that we could or should have won, but to not take your oppo to at least give yourself an oppo, is an oppo missed. Dont count on three out of nine again. I hope it does, but to expect that is far from realistic

Some of you "fans" just seem to love hating Miles. It's pretty sad, actually.

There's no comment that means anything unless it's negative. We should've/shouldn't have won the game.... Go over the entire season schedule which took us to THE game, whatever the end point. It'll be some time before any school equals that.

And what a starting point for next season! Unfortunately, that sort of thinking is pretty scarce.

Get over it.

ive defended the man. this was over the line. the status quo suked, and to be oblivious to that fact speaks volumes for your perception, or lack thereof

So you're going to relive it for the next 8 months?

Bottom line-

IF you are a Tiger fan, you can move on. And should.

It's that easy. If you don't like Miles, who am I to say you should. That's your right.

That said, you should give him credit for what the team did this year and not focus on one game. Yes, I realize what game it was.

But if you're going to piss on the man from now until September, take your butt to another program. Be a fan of another team.

Boise is waiting for you.

like that?

To be fair, that is a VERY recent fad, I believe, driven by coaches and schools growing tired of watching SEC athletes run around and past them in bowl and interconference games. And I bet Bo is rolling over in his grave at all that passing going on in his conference. From what little I ever saw or read on the man, I think he would have had a very difficult time changing like others have done.

I am with many of you guys and have had a love-hate relationship with Miles. I gained a new appreciation for him this season after the way he handled all of the controversy surrounding the team. Many other teams would have folded like a cheap suit.

I am torn between not wanting to accept anything less than a championship, but not wanting to become Nebraska- who's spoiled fan base was winning 10-11 games a season, fired their coach because that wasn't good enough only to spend the next 12 years as a .500 team.

We could do a lot worse than Miles- even with all of his quirkiness. I appreciate the fact that he is not ripping our players on national TV every weekend and puts a quality product on the field 99% of the time.
2012 is going to be a great season. It's time to put 2011 in the rearview mirror.
Just one man's opinion...

Agree with your points very much, but you forgot to also add these resume busters to Les's formidable history:

1) Playing not to lose. Get a little lead and sit on it, let your defense and ST be bigger parts of the game than just 1/3 or 1/4, which they should be.
2) Marble mouth explanations, vagaries, and general douchebagness when answering questions. Remember, he does not owe you an explanation. You are just supposed to come to the games and cheer whatever he does. Midwest and Big 10 fans do not know football, and neither should you.
3) Hire great coordinators and then handcuff them. Hire bad coordinators and let them stay longer than they should because 'you're a nice guy'. Screw the program and all that nonsense.
