but all we did was run the same option plays we've run since 2009.
Lack of practice.

They just had him run the play he was most familiar with.

I want to throw this in there. . .JJ looked much improved as a runner. He showed better vision and cuts than he has ever shown.

JJ ddnt attempt one pass. I dont think we are going to a 2 qb system, what from yesterday makes you believe that?

I think Miles just wanted to get JJ a score and get him out there. I thought he came in early. now that i think about it, let him play this week when we prob had zero chance of losing this game, let him play against wku, let him play if there is injury.

And before then, Nebraska and Oklahoma ran those options and defenses continued to struggle with them because you have to make a choice unlike on a dive play.

what i am saying is "apple"

what you are saying is a "manhole"

Then JL goes to the 1 yrd line and Les shows all the confidence in JL by bringing in JJ.
bonehead move by Miles.
IMO he traded character for 7 points.

Yeah, he's an awful man. You're Mother Teresa...

I might have waited to put JJ in considering that some fans would act like they did, but from a coaching standpoint, it worked and Miles gets paid to win in the end.

If you use something that never happened to justify your position, then it should be.

Get his feet wet?

Shake off the rust?

Could be any number of reasons, I suppose.

i'd agree

but you probably will be met with the "shaking off the rust" argument

It should have been a penalty. But no one here knows why it happened, or what caused it. I would say the staff, for the late subs, and Jacobs, for not getting Edwards' attention before entering the huddle, are to blame.

So you saw the flag and the march off?

LSU got really lucky

Why say that?

I admit that I didn't see a flag droped on that play.

Now if you saw that and you watched the walk off, I apologise for my bad vision. But if you didn't see the flag or the walk off them the point is moot.

it should have.

it wasn't called, but it still happened.

and it was when JJ came in.

then a time out was burned.
