The attack on the BOS has been bizarre, to say the least.

Why do you consider this fact to be a problem? Do you think police departments are above reproach and should never be sued? Should they never be held accountable?

His BOS fricked this Will Wade shite up from the beginning, the fact he’s a leftist ambulance chaser who frivolously sued a police department and likely received this job Bc he’s a crony for JBE only exacerbates the situation, sorry bro facts>feelings

How did they screw it up from the beginning? F. King Alexander directed Alleva to suspend Wade.

Why’d the BOS want to include itself and the NCAA in on Wade’s meeting with Alleva and King, right as he’d been subpoenaed to testify in federal court? That’s a classic rush to judgment and exacerbation of a molehill situation at the time, then again I’m not surprised considering Williams disseminated the “Hands Up Don’t Shoot” fraud, is what it is.

What? How does that refute F. King suspending Wade?

I’m not refuting any of that but it was a poorly-constructed decision on Williams’ (BOS by proxy) part in terms of what it ultimately translated to and I’m not defending Wade as well but this situation did not have to detonate to the extent it has to this point and that’s where they failed

Anyone who compares that turd to a legal legend like Cochran should be tarred and feathered, so so inane and of course he’d run this better than Williams

I had no idea. Thanks for advising. This explains a lot about the path that LSU is going down.

What facts?

"he’s a leftist ambulance chaser"
opinion based upon very limited information

"likely received this job Bc he’s a crony for JBE"

pure speculation, only.

He asked for specific examples and you referenced your first post which does not mention any specific cases but vague comments about frivolous lawsuits, victimhood mentality etc, so what are some examples of the types of lawsuits you are talking about?

1. He’s a personal injury attorney
2. He’s represents leftists that’s very prominent in his BOS bio
3. Why on Earth would JBE appoint an ambulance chaser to chair the BOS?

Man, they weren’t kidding when they say retards post here lol

Do you mean juries with black folks or people from Africa that just arrived and applied for citizenship?

He filed a frivolous suit against a police department and disseminated the “Hands Up Dont Shoot” fraud, in addition to all the leftists he’s represented and how he totally screwed this Wade situation up, if you can’t form a logical conclusion based off that then you aren’t worth discussing this further with.

Moreover, why are y’all sticking up for this douche? He’s a fricking ambulance chaser who fraudulently exacerbated police-black community relations on the national stage, are you people this stupid?!

True, here’s a prime example

quote:

1. He’s a personal injury attorney
2. He’s represents leftists that’s very prominent in his BOS
3. Why on Earth would JBE appoint an ambulance chaser to chair the BOS?

If you want to question is actions on the BOS that’s fine but why would his profession as a civil defense attorney make him unqualified? And more importantly why should the political views of his clients matter? Last I checked everyone’s entitled to a fair trail

Define frivolous? But that’s still only one case.

quote:

disseminated the “Hands Up Dont Shoot” fraud,

Again this is one specific example but that’s more the media which never fact checks nevertheless there have been instances of police shooting unarmed, innocents civilians which is really what the phrase is meant to convey.

quote:

in addition to all the leftists he’s represented

Again why should the political leaning of his clients matter?

quote:

how he totally screwed this Wade situation up,

How exactly did he screw it up? Because the BOS didn’t reinstate Wade and fire Alexander and Alleva immediately? I think Wade should never have been suspended and want those guys replaced too but I’m not sure how exactly the BOS screwed it up.

quote:

Moreover, why are y’all sticking up for this douche?

No one really is, most are wonder why the op and some others like you think suing police departments is a)automatically bad and b) DQs him from serving on the LSU board.

The racism towards white people in this thread is blatantly obvious. That being said, police should be respected but not put on a pedestal. Some of the police I have encountered, abuse their power in one way or another. Racially profiling is a part of life. We need to hold the police in check as well. Also, everybody has a right to a legitimate defense attorney. This keeps our judicial system balanced.
