I just said the same thing considering the inning stats of those relievers

By starting his ace? Weird way to go about that

Have you seen these relievers? No way that’s the best they got.

The ace throws like 120 plus an outing. Either we find out he was sick or got sick from heat or something

No, by having your first reliever being someone with less than 10 appearances

Yes, because all ultra competitive players and coaches routinely concede the most important game of the season. Stupid.

If Jay put in a guy with 6 innings only does me 2 I’d go through the ceiling. Imagine if he did that in game 7 Monday.

I have no clue about their bullpen but those first two pitchers had some questionable numbers to be making changes

Didn’t think it was a stupid question. Pulling your ace at only 85 pitches and putting in guys that I’m guessing aren’t you best. It was odd.

He threw his Ace to see if we could get to him, if we couldn’t he would have stayed. We did, pull him and hold him for spots. I think they are conceding to tomorrow

Down 7-1 he’s not wanting to waste good pitchers he may need tomorrow or Monday it seems

If they are conceding the game then why are they hitting the ball?

He wasn't down 7-1 when he went to mid week arms in his pen. He was down 3-1 it made no sense

I was thinking the exact same thing. Certainly I haven’t researched the WVU bullpen, but to bring in three pitchers in a row with <10 innings and ERAs >5.00….

It was 3-1 at that point. That’s very much a game.

You’re going to take your chances in a one game scenario with Eyanson and let us save our bullpen?

He was gassed out there. That challenge on the HBP was to give him a break. He just squatted out on the mound while waiting.
