I know there was talk when he came out by some in the know that he would be better suited at LB. Clearly he was effective at the end of 2011 in situations at RB but he has not looked all that effecive the past year and a game.

Should he have been a LB?

he looked plenty effective thru the first few games of 2012, and very much like a RB. funny how ppl forget that. he had those 2 fumbles against one of the scrub teams from trying to do too much, and kinda got doghoused.

I think he's a RB, and with enough carries, a good one. it's just that we got other guys that are either better or more versatile.

I've been disappointed in Hilliard's development since his freshman year, which was so wildly promising.

I wonder what has happened?

Based on how he has performed in the big cat drill, I'd say no...

Miss the boat, How many people hold the LHSA rushing record? One and that is Kenny Hilliard. Clearly Miles isn't giving him an opportunity to prove himself.

Seems to be the general consensus on the rant and I agree.

LOL. So a guy that is a soft RB would be a better LB?? Right right. Hes got the size to be a good RB, but just runs too soft. Sorry there is no way he should be a LB.

Playing a diff position and being good at in high school doesnt mean he would be good at it in college. In high school these guys were the biggest freaks on the field and would of made a diff at ANY position. Hilliard could of played DE, DT, LB, S, RB, TE, QB, and WR in high school and he would of dominated everyone in high school. They are physically dominant in every aspect of the game in high school. In college, and even more so in the SEC, your playing against guys that were just like them in high school. Yea, its hard.

Im tired of the excuse that Hilliard is struggling because he had twins, LAST YEAR. Having twins has nothing to do with playing football. And if ANYTHING, that should give him more incentive to be great and go to the NFL and make $$$.
