I never saw it!!! Just Florida ball and then inbound play?

If I’ve ever seen a play inconclusive that was it. If you have video evidence otherwise please post.

Im just glad they somehow didnt botch the layup that they clearly didnt get off in time.

With that said, our defense was ATROCIOUS!!! But I think it could be a blessing because that will be coached up in practice and it wont happen again.

Wish we could get Burrow to talk to the basketball team and share his killer mentality with them.

This team needs someone like Burrow who will step on their throats when they’re down and put them away.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad we’re winning. But as a fan it’s frustrating/scary for every game to go down to the final possession regardless of the opponent.

Hell no. I thought that was a horrible call when they overturned it and gave the ball to Florida. That was bullshite. There definitely wasn't "indisputable video evidence" to overturn the call on the court at the very least. It sure did seem like the refs were trying all they could to give Florida a chance to win the game or at least send it to overtime. They also added .4 to the game clock, which was even more bullshite. Just a poorly officiated last sequence of the game that's for sure. Whatever though, LSU won the game anyway, as they should have, and it didnt matter anyway. Theres so much winning going on right now for LSU Athletics! It's awesome! I hope the baseball team also comes out ready to play at a championship level like both the football and basketball teams both have/are. Let's geaux baby! Bring it! Geaux tigers!

Should not have been an issue.

IF Skylar holds the ball tight and near his chest, it can't be knocked out. Game is over. No review. No turnover.

Thing is never in the history of basketball has the ball been off Skylar in that situation. Nw they slow it down so much if the ball is in your hand and I hit it, it will be off the offense. Stupid!

Referees will be poor no matter, but those 3 were as bad as I have seen.

All Skylar had to do was hold the ball. On the replay you can see the Florida defender's hand push the ball out! I could not believe the call. How they missed that I do not know!

Downvote all you want but after seeing that and the Olemiss game, the league does not want LSU to be number one.

Meh. I don’t watch a ton of basketball these days, and I saw it happen this season to Lebron. May have been the last Lakers/Clippers game. Defender tipped the ball out of Lebron’s hands, but it hit his fingertips on the way out. Yeah, they rarely call it and almost never used to, but in super slow motion it can show off the offensive player last.

That said, I didn’t have a good luck at the replay last night.

I think the ref blew the whistle before Skylar threw the ball out, which I thought was a strange decision on his part.

Exactly.

Sometimes they play too cool for cocoa puffs. Skyler should’ve possessed the ball with two hands against his chest and it would’ve never happened.
Very very simple. Thank goodness we didn’t lose the game because of that.

He didn’t throw it out of bounds, it was poked out from the side opposite the camera. But I’ll admit I thought he threw it out too live and I was mad and confused lol.

When have you seen consistent evidence that we play defense?

Watching the replay many times... there was one angle that appeared to,show the Florida guy reaching around and knocking the ball out of skylars hands.

One.. generally that kind of reach around is called a foul... Two. looked like it was out on Florida.

Of many replays they showed that angle once.

Might be why they waved off the basket.

We need to put that inbound play design in our playbook. Plays like that are why you play zone on in bound plays under the basket.
