It'd be interesting to know how we stack up in the SEC with an exact number. I know we're loudest in the SEC and that's a given. South endzone fans are pretty damn loud, so I can't wait till we get a bit of a buffer above them

Anyone know the exact new capacity? 99,500 w/ standing room only tix available? Thanks and !!!

Everything says 99,500 which seems incredibly dumb. You can't find 500 seats somewhere? Of course these are the same people that okayed toonces.

If it is 99.5K, they should shoot whoever agreed to the design.

This. If that's the case, there's no reason why we couldn't have found room for 500 more seats.

LSU doesn't want 100,000 seats. They said it would take away from the experience or something. I'm not lying.

Wouldn't we want more people?

I agree with them. The game day experience would be totally ruined if that stadium held 100,000 people. Just thinking about it makes me sick. 99,500 is perfect.

Alleva was talking about how when he was at Duke he always liked how Cameron Indoor doesn't hold very many people but it's such a "special experience" and that was his reasoning. I've been a big Alleva defender but this is just

But I have heard that it will be 99,500 seats with room for SROs to bump it up over 100k for bigger games. if that's the case then i have no problem with that.

Even if it's not, the official capacity of 92,542 is regularly surpassed for big games anyway as it is. I think the record is something like 93,250 so if that sort of thing holds, we wont need the SRO

Aren't we routinely over capacity with the current configuration? Over selling student tickets tends to do this.

Not sure why this is such a cause for concern each week from our fanbase. Like we win some award with this.

IMO there is a level of prestige in joining the 100k stadium club

I never thought the Tenn stadium gave them prestige because it was big. Same for Michigan. I would rather be LSU at 80k back in the day than the Big House at 110k.

I'd much rather join the 100k+ league.

I think we could average 98,000 a year if the capacity was 99,500..That's including games against shitty teams too of course, but still a very respectable number

All those seats for the most part will be full because the overwhelming majority are suites and stadium club seats. Uppers may be limited depending on the game but it's only 1500 seats.

Donate those 1,500 seats to cub scouts or what not for the crappy games...they'd fill em up.
