No idea. It's a great reaction gif for when someone goes off on a crazy rant though.

6-7 head coaching record at that point with only a couple of years of coordinator experience... he wasn't on many people's radar

First two posters were spot on

OP of that Frost for HC had more downvotes than upvotes.

I’ll say this now just as I did Herman. Both guys would have been highly successful here, regardless how they do at their new schools.

I say that in case Nebraska takes a while to get better.. Texas was a rebuild as well. We were not that far off.

How many of you naive, bitching mofos honestly think that Frost wouldn't have left LSU for Nebraska after 2 season?

So why is this even a topic?

The formula for success at LSU is to hire a P5 coach that is a proven winner at a mid tier program. That's where LSU should start its next search.

And the problem is that our fan base truly believes in this formula. Based on this formula LSU will never find the next:

Bob Stoops
Kirby Smart
Dabo Swinney
Jimbo Fisher
Mark Richt
Lincoln Riley
Gary Patterson
David Shaw

Instead we forget that our “can’t fail” formula gave us Curly and Dinardo before striking gold with Saban and Miles.

Curly and Dinardo were not all to blame for their failure. LSU was eat up with “good ole boy” politics and was toxic from the inside out. Saban came in and changed all of that basically saying “if you want to win, you will stay the frick out of my way and let me do what I do”. It worked great. Miles held it up for as long as he could but unfortunately that “good ole boy” toxic from the inside mentality is back.

Joe considered Frost just about as much as he considered Herman.

What about Harbaugh (either one?

What about Gruden?

What about Peyton?

What about Meyer?

All that talent ignored!

How can we justify this?
