Time to rock some worlds but Canada was good too.

I loved Canada’s offense when it was humming. The threat of the jet sweep was the catalyst.

Peetz actually did a great job with his script for the first few drives, it was just always fall apart after that. I did the math after like week 6, almost 70% of Johnson’s production came on the first 20ish plays of the game.

Yes, after the scripted plays, he was terrible. People have short memories. They were bombarding the board with Peetz sucks threads. Peetz continually could not even get the plays in on time frustrating everyone including the QB and WRs.

His red zone calls were really bad. We moved the ball on Auburn last year and still only scored 19 and lost to Auburn in Tiger Stadium.

I think Max was and is a little better than we want to give him credit for (myself included)

Good point but lots of variables here mentioned by other posters:

1. Our run game sucked… but we also replaced Faulk so who knows
2. Jimbo sucks
3. Orgeron sucked

We may never know

You also had an experienced line and a very good running back.

Sure looks like he would be an upgrade from the $100 Million Coach's Nepotism OC DumbRock

Max has a weak and inaccurate arm throwing far downfield and holds the ball too long taking too many sacks. But he wasn't awful for us. He had some crappy games, but he actually had decent numbers and saved us from a losing season in 2020 with the big wins against UF and Ole Miss to finish out the season (he was SEC Offensive Player of the Week in his first start in the win at The Swamp). He just didn't progress and is very limited. He regressed last year.
