When focusing on one game at a time you focus on the motivation for that game. Poche getting a record is one. Shouldn't bother anybody.

He using it as motivation for his players to play well.

Maineiri is closer to the team than we are.
Maybe it is a smaller more focused goal than saying "hey guys pack up, if you lose we fly back to Baton Rouge in a tropical storm"
