Um.... yes. And I think video evidence was more than enough to send his arse back to his own side of the field.

Can I see a vid? I was in the stadium and for some dumb arse reason they only show the replay once.

Any links? I was at the game and did not see it at all, although the lack of pursuit did leave me wondering

They never show replays and it drives me crazy. God forbid if they don't show a AD though.

it's not like Ark was a threat at that point anyway, just give it to them. Yes, I know LSU was only up 1 possesion, but LSU was in control.

Kinda like the Mett TD vs Ole Miss.

Without any fricking doubt - how that was not called back is just mind numbing.

Hmmm.... I think it was 21-14 at that point, and his catch and run set up the field goal that made it 21-17.

I'm pretty sure there's either an NCAA or SEC rule that says they can only show the replay once on the stadium monitor. It seems like I remember LSU getting fined several years ago for showing a replay multiple times.

Right heel was very close to out. Probably was.

Left toe was definitely out, no question.

I saw a talk given by one of the guys responsible for the replays. He said that the rule is that on controversial plays they can only show it once.

probably, but not enough to overturn.

SEC refs have been amazingly good with replay this year. My previous opinion was they were flipping coins in the replay booth.

Yes but you don't know what angle they had to review. They said stands not confirmed for what it's worth.

The angle that they showed left some doubt. So I can't blame them for not overturning the call on the field. Just wish they would have shown it from a different angle.

The angle they showed looked like he stepped out, but it may have just been the angle. The ref was right there for the call.

The evidence was not conclusive so the play could not be overturned. The call stood, but it was not confirmed.

Big time CFB and NFL games need to invest in technology chips in the ball and players cleats to ensure proper spots are made. We shouldn't rely on refs to spot a player's forward progress or spot where he runs out of bounds. Computer equipment should be responsible for this sort of thing. It would make the multiple camera angles for the purpose of reviews, perhaps even reviews in general, obsolete.

No. IMO it was the right call.
