I think FF was on the way out of the door if he stayed and lost the game anyway and clearly he would have lost the game

IMO, this will be our offences first true test.
UF Defense is legit.

Time will tell, but I'm betting on him potentially being better.

He was going to start the South Carolina game last year because they were benching Franks after another bad performance. He got hurt in practice and his season was over. Trask's season ended when he was going to get 1st start

So when he was going to make his 1st start debut last year, he was out the rest of the season due to injury during the practice that week. Going into this year, I doubt the competition was very open because Franks had a good few games to finish the 2018 season and I'm not sure when Trask was maybe even 100% either. not to mention Trask isn't as mobile as Franks, and Mullen LOVES his mobile QBs. so he's had that working against him ever since Mullen came in last year.

In the end I dont think Trask is some hidden gem or anything, but Franks did tend to set a really, really low bar with his hyper inconsistent play.

He got the job done.

It's a bit concerning knowing that FLA will have AUB right before us though, a game to go full speed against an SEC defense.

I think we can keep him uncomfortable and force some errors, but I'd be more confident if we were playing them this weekend.

Yes unfortunately for us he is an upgrade over Franks. I was so pissed he got hurt because He is garbage. If Franks doesn’t get hurt UF loses that game

I remember Brandon Harris coming into a game where we were whipped. He put on one hell of a show.......then next week on the road at Auburn. Yikes. It was awful.

I suspect the same thing here with this kid.

I don't.

Harris was running a Miles offense.

This kid is being coached by Dan Mullin, which is a major upgrade in every aspect of offensive scheme and coaching.

Mullen also owns O and Aranda. I'm happy UF is coming to TS, but that doesn't mean much.

I actually like the timing. AUB is going to physically wear UF out for us. Their game will be a war.

I was referring to how he will perform against Tennessee this weekend. I suspect he will have a drop off much like Harris did.

He's mediocre. He was originally beat out by Franks. If they really want to change this season, they need to get Emory Jones up to snuff. I really hope they go with Trask though. He's not much to get nervous over.
