Did anybody else notice at the baseball game?

During the first inning the helicopter was flying mysteriously low in the front of the stadium not less than 200 feet I'm guessing.

Officials from the stadium were trying to wave him off to go away because it was making so much noise. There was some serious concern from some of the fans.

I know as a licensed pilot, that if he was that low that is illegal...FAA would not be happy...

the LSU PD and others were getting very upset with him!!!

at the game i was thinking that if lsu was smart, they would have hired him to take the pics of the stadium packed so they could make some posters/merchandise to sell...but he could have just had the same idea on his own

Even aerial photos need to get licensed through CLC...so the university's going to get their cut regardless. Why do any heavy lifting if you'll still get paid sipping mixed drinks?

look at the front page of Saturday's Advocate. Only place that pic sould have been taken from is the helicopter.

Hawthorn said on the radio that he was taking pictures. whoever was in the chopper was texting him saying that is what they were doing.

That statement was in reference to the pic on the front page of Saturday's Advocate. Not ALL the pics on their site.
