Probably not a coincidence that Lacy on a visit that goes well, then next day Lee hits portal. Only one ball to go around and we have some stud Sophomores....along with Boutte and Jaray.

The crazy thing is despite 5 WR entering the portal we will be fine at WR. Obviously, we need to get one or 2 for depth via portal but it's not a terrible situation.

Yeah, this is a typical transfer like any other year previously. Lee and Palmer just haven't had a lot of luck here and are trying to go elsewhere to play more.

If Smith actually stays I’m not worried about WR
Boutte, Bech, Thomas, Nabors, Smith, Hilton, Ibieta isn’t super deep, but the talent there and it’s not super shallow either.
Add 1-2 portal guys and I’m fine. Lee was barely seeing the field when we were a mash unit.

Everything isn't attributable to this, guys.
Devonta was going into his 4th year and hadn't gained traction at either WR or DB/LB**. He wasn't playing much. Those are the kind of guys that transfer. Especially in a world where you don't have to sit out a year.
(**I was kinda surprised they didn't try him at TE this year, but maybe that speaks to his abilities as well...)
