re: Devin White should be the #1 pick

Nobody is (or should be) saying that White isn't a great player if he isn't a top 5 pick. But odds are Arizona is taking Murray because that's Kingsbury's guy, and Bosa and William's are essentially everyone else's top 2 defensive picks. The Raiders need a pass rusher badly, and that isn't White.

David Ducre should be the #2 pick

Unpopular opinion: Kylar Murray will be a bust in the NFL

Your lack of basic football knowledge is appalling.

would have to have a Ray Lewis type of career to justify being the no.1 overall pick. Having a top 10 QB is more important in the NFL then having even the best overall MLB in the game.
Not saying he should be 1 overall, but if there was a draft it could/should happen, it's this one.

I agree. He is the best player in the draft

Would have if he returned for his senior year

I think so. If a young Patrick Willis was in this class would you take him number 1? White can easily be a Willis type

Here is a list of all the LBs taken first overall. 4 total and one was both a center and LB (Played both ways in college and the NFL)
1949 Chuck Bednarik C, LB Penn Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl (1950, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1960) Pro Football Hall of Fame (1967) NFL Champion (1949, 1960)
1966 Tommy Nobis* LB Texas Atlanta Falcons Pro Bowl (1966, 1967, 1968, 1970, 1972)
1979 Tom Cousineau LB Ohio State Buffalo Bills
1988 Aundray Bruce LB Auburn Atlanta Falcons
I don't think it's a position that goes 1 very often.
Here is the list since the last time a LB went first

2017 - DE - Myles Garrett - Cleveland Browns
2016 - QB - Jared Goff - Los Angeles Rams

Why? Other than not being a QB, what hasn't he proven?
Arizona needs upgrades at offensive tackle and wide receiver. 49ers need a safety and red zone WR options.

AZ definitely needs help on the OL, but the defensive front 7 could use an upgrade. As a Cardinal fan, I hope they end up trading down somewhere between 5-10 and getting that teams 2nd round pick as well get Bosa or White in the 1st and go after OL in the 2nd and 3rd. WR isn't the strength it used to be, but it does you no good to have WRs when the QB is getting hit as he comes out from under center and the RB is getting hit at the point of hand off.

It seemed pretty clear by the post I quoted that the specific member doesn't believe White is good enough to be picked that high.

These are very fair answers to the OP's question. I don't disagree with you, either. My only point is that if those teams situations were different, White could, in theory, be the top overall pick.

I just don’t want him going to Tampa.
