It basically comes down to this. There are a bunch of emotional posters on here, some legit, some paid trolls, that fall into two categories.

Those that blindy think O will succeed, and actually get upset at any valid concerns, so they spend their time continuously sucking off O with no thought for the program, trying to drown out anything concerning.

Then on the other side there are those like me, not yet sure if O is the answer, but worry about the leadership of the program of late, but realize there no choice but to wait and see.

Myself, like many others, think it is very bad business that chicken allows these shills on the board to put their love of O before the program. Stating an opinion is fine, but the repetitive fellatio 24/7 speaks of shills. It is not the majority opinion at all that Lsu is headed toward championships, especially from our actual alumni away from this board. Most feel the direction of recruiting hasn't improved from what it was, and are wary of yearly coaching changes.

I'm convinced there are two groups of trolls. One is Ponamsky's army, which he knows is necessary for his employment to keep the focus off of the shortcomings we all saw in September before the firing line came up on the schedule, and one group is paid shills from a certain recreational group. Nomojeaux falls into both categories, and he is special.

Bottom line is media and boosters read this, and the attempt by shills is to paint an overly simplistic picture of Lsu football. One would barely know that Lsu has a real shot at finishing out of the teens this year.

What an embarrassingly awful written rant, but I kept your same basic elementary structure and fixed it to accurately reflect the views of those that actually put the program over their infatuation with a local boy winning the lottery.

What a sad sad human being. Does this guy even want LSU to be successful? Can this dumbass name me one program that has won a NC with half the fan base wanting to HC fired? Get behind the O brah. Yall are really starting to look worse than Tennessee fans and I didn't think that was possible.

In 2007, do you think the fan base was as split as it is now? From what I remember everyone was behind Miles that year because Saban was in year 1 at Bama.

A large group of mouthbreathers, mostly Oflakes, never supported him after Tennessee 05, and proudly admit that on the board to this day.

Regardless, how about winning the SEC with half the fanbase wanting him fired? No doubt that the 2011 13-0 SEC Championship was done despite, and in spite of, massive discontent within the fanbase from the 08 and 09 seasons that never went away.

I love how you say program and not coach. Cause you know, our corch hasn't won a National Championship. But the guy that was just run off had won a National Championship. Here. At LSU.

Tubbs last year 5-7
Gene goes 8-5 in year one and 14-0 in year two

So should LSU only hire coaches that have won NC before?

Not sure what this is supposed to mean, but I’ll respond with this:

Miles’ last year 9-3
O goes 9-3 in year one (no net gain compared to plus 3 for Chiz)

If O goes 14-0 in year 2 I’ll get his face tattooed on my chest and never post on this board again.

What will you do if he doesn’t?

No. I think most fans would have been happy hiring a coach with a winning record at the very least.

I dont know why gene chizik is being brought up and only being talked about how he was 8-5 year one and 14-0 year two.

What about years 3 and 4?

You know the ones where his team immediately took a nose dive to sucking? 8-5 year 3 and 3-9 year 4.

Probably the cause of a dirty program doing anything to get Cam Newton.

Should LSU only hire coaches with losing career records?

I am in no way defending Chizik as a coach. PlacebO was the one that brought up his success in the first two years as, I think, an example for why we should give O the benefit of the doubt because the Auburn fans that didn’t like the hire were proven wrong when he won the NC.

I responded to that with my post that O has already shown less promise to advance the program than Chizik did in his first year, and my high skepticism that he will achieve the success that Chizik did in his second.

I suppose O is doing the Miles thing and run an OC off to bring in someone who runs an offense that's predictable and banal. Maybe O is going to bring back Cameron, or Studraw (however the f@%$ his name is spelled.)

I would have settled for one who had at least one winning record while managing a program, but that’s just me.
