Who Lacy played for isn't relevant to me.
Don't speak ill of the dead and leave this family alone to grieve.
Social media and regular media can be vicious sometimes.

quote:Semantics but when did I say he shot it at her feet?
Where was it said he shot at her feet?
But I bet he did. Do you think he took the gun out to intimate her then turned the opposite way and shot it?
quote:Here's the thing about being a repeat criminal with a history of this behavior - your side of the story doesn't mean shite if there are eye witnesses and especially if it's your own family.
I am saying we don't have both sides of the story.
quote:We have two completely different views then. I see Kyren as a criminal who was treated like a king in college football so he thought he could do whatever he wanted and his actions led to the death of one innocent man and then he was willing to then put more innocent life's at risk so he didn't have to deal with the consequences of his own actions.
Not being charitable because he played for LSU. I am being charitable because this is a terrible situation any way you look at it and two families are without their loved ones.
I'm sorry for his family and the pain that they feel but I'm not going to ignore the truth.
quote:Oh no! That poor baby had to read bad stuff on social media? I wonder if that marine would have made a deal to read bad stuff about him instead of dieing in a crash?
If you don't think that social media crucifying Lacy in a public opinion poll didn't have something to do with his mental health, there is nothing more to say.
It's not even killing him that's the awful part imo. It's circling the scene then fleeing. What if he called 911 and first responders got there sooner and the innocent man lived?
fricking selfish thug, trash behavior. At least he changed his ways and never put anyone else at risk with a car huh?
quote:So now I'm suppose to ignore all of crimes because some teammates said he was a good guy?
By all accounts from former coaches and teammates that Kyren was a good guy. He made poor decisions and that is part of growing up.
He was 25 years old. That's a grown arse man. Stop acting like he was a 17 year old that made one bad decision. The dude was a grown man and clearly didn't learn from his actions that led to the death of an innocent person. I'm just glad he didn't kill anyone else in his high speed chase. Clearly he didn't give a shite about anyone else's safety. But that's just "apart of growing up" in your mid 20's huh?
ETA: I was wrong Kyren did not circle the scene. He fled the scene but did not circle. Not editing out so everyone knows what I said and why other folks responded as such.

Don't speak ill of the dead and leave this family alone to grieve.
Stop being so dramatic, no one is going at their family members. This lsu football message board. It's not like we're texting this to his dad.

You are correct.
If lacy didn’t catch footballs for LSU…this entire board would be calling him a “tPOS”. It’s a very sad situation that a young man’s life was ended too soon, but let’s not pretend like he was some sort of saint.

I'm not saying he wasn't because have never met Lacy and don't know what he does in his off time, but I think that depends on you consider to be a "good guy"

Intimidate.
You have many facts of the original accident wrong. He never circled around the original.accident. Go back to reading comprehension and reread things.

quote:Most of these exact same guys were crucifying Henry Ruggs when he killed someone reckless drunk driving.
So if Lacy played for Bama, would you be defending him to the hilt like you are?
quote:Amen.
What the sister was saying or doing is completely irrelevant when it comes to pulling a gun and discharging it intentionally. But I believe in personal responsibility and using logic when evaluating situations.

I'm no defender of KL, but when you keep saying, incorrectly, that he circled the scene and then left, you look foolish. Please read the police report

I think that everyone hears you and feels the same way that you do, at least in part.
Though it is probably ok for people to speak honestly about their frustrations with Kyren, this has been such a senseless and tragic saga. A cautionary tale for the ages.
If you can't cope with it maybe leave the thread?

"apart of growing up"
I don't misuse or misspell words. I have a dictionary on my phone.
I said "part of growing up".
He was an immature kid in an adult aged body as evidenced by his shooting his finger gun at a defensive player. Guys mature slower than girls. I had a nephew that said and did stupid shite well into his 20s.
His high school and ULL coaches had favorable things to say about him. He cried when he was called for a penalty that took away #8's TD record.
By all accounts he always had a smile on his face and was a jokester. Then the accident happened and his future was less bright.
Have some empathy for the Lacy family and his friends and family by not posting crap about him.
He was never formally charged by the GJ and they were about to review evidence in that regard.
As always, some of you people took the guilty until proven innocent approach.

Go read Mr. Lacy's Facebook page.
People are harassing him like he did it.

Tiger Ryno if I knew you I could put you in touch with someone who was at the cult house and got out before she was baptized.
She has plenty to say.

I'll add an edit to those post. I'm wrong and he didn't circle the accident he just fled the scene
But you're correct - I should state it accurately.

#1) No. I have no intentions to going to his family to rub salt in the wound.
#2) Yeah there are shitty people on social media, never said there wasn't
#3) Facebook isn't mandatory. Delete or disable it, if it's bad for your mental health

They make low end whites feel better about themselves, everybody knows that.

dindu is a universal archetype i believe.
Posted on 4/14/25 at 10:03 am to white beans
No one has said Lacy was a dindu. I said his parent and family should be left alone.
I said by all accounts former coaches and teammates had good things to say about #2.
They wouldn't be saying nice things if he was a cancer in the locker room.

quote:Yeah it has nothing to do with black males between 14-49 making up 3% of the population and committing 43% of all homocides.
They make low end whites feel better about themselves, everybody knows that.
It's not a cultural issue at all that celebrates violence. Like pretending to shoot someone after scoring a TD....
But yeah dindu didn't come from 25 year old repeat criminals doing dangerous things that leads to the death of innocent people only to be told after their actions - really it's a mental health issue and he's just growing up.
It's all the low end whites fault!!
