I agree completely. Mob mentality has set in. It was an understandable business arrangement that was poorly executed by the staff an made worse by management comments. They've learned a lesson. No need to call out/ email the Florida alumni group/ chapter.
Time to move on to th next social injustice. I think the political board should get in here and start recruiting some SJWs.

If LSU fans continue to bash them after they have extended an olive branch and apologized, it will look like his manager was right in the 1st place.

Plenty of damage done. No need to twist the knife. They now understand the importance of all fan groups and the power of social media. I believe Harry T's management deserves an opportunity to improve from this situation. Anything remotely close to anything like this happens again, then unleash hell.

They will feel some effects but will survive most likely. I know some people that are re posting on my page right now are big time beach bums that are in OB every weekend but know lots of people in Destin and looked at condos there for awhile they just like the drive distance of OB. Those people are pretty clickish and gossip more than anyone so they will piss and moan and cause some regular visitors to not go.

I do agree. Harry T's realized their mistake and they are paying for it.

Yep. Then he ran a longtime fixture on sports radio in that area out of a job when he got out. The guy who kept his radio show going while he was in prison. He's quite the piece of work.
FYI- McKinney is an Ole Miss alum and big time supporter. I know many of you will be shocked by this.

I am a server in Destin, and not for Harry Ts thank God. To me this is ridiculous discrimination. Our restaurant would never turn away a customer because of what team you are for geez. We are happy to have all customers dine with us. I have eaten at Harry Ts before and trust me you are not missing out on anything. The food is not that great and way over priced. Destin restaurants are seasonal and depend on tourists to keep them going during the summer months. I guess if they do not want LSU fans eating there, they do not want Alabama fans, Tennessee fans, Mississippi State fans or any other fans eating there either. I do not think this will fare well for them next season. Shame on them

This NO CLASS idiot should have known better than to wear a hat inside a restaurant, especially if it was a cap.
If this restaurant doesn't want Tiger fans' business, spread the word so others don't waste their time.

He also stole a large sum of money from his wife at the time to, go ahead and support him. Rob Brown doesn't have a radio show anymore, he got kicked off when McKinney came back on the radio after quitting SST back in February/March.

So, while we are having a lucid interval here and soberly assessing the fallout from all this, what about the LSU fan who was the alleged source of the threats to staff etc.

Almost. Call off the dogs, but boycott Harry T's suck up, crocodile tears event on Saturday. Then, message delivered, and those in the forgiving mood can patronize in the future if they please.

I am aware of that but he seems to have made his life right and can't look down on him for that. Rob Brown is a good guy as well just not on the radio (repeats himself too much). For all I know you may be Rob Brown. If you are, no offense.
