I was one of the few people who was an early critic of Stingley. During the National Championship year I argued that while Stingley was a future pro, and probable All Pro, he was not in the Patrick Peterson class. I based this on his inability to erase great college receivers.
However, I’m arguing the other side now. This guy is going to be a very good pro. A team taking him in the 15th spot will not be disappointed. I still don’t believe he justifies a top 7 pick, but we’ll see.

I really want you to respond back and walk me through your brain. In your brain, stingley has lisfranc surgery, a surgery than on average keeps nfl players out for 11 months, all so he could “fake hurt” and not have to play for wonderful fans like yourselves. Is that correct?
