Well good pack up your shite, cut your annual salary in half, and carry your arse to Boulder. Because that is what the jackasses in this thread want Les to do.

You go first, maybe Les and a few other retards in the state will follow.

Who shite in your cornflakes?

Read the article. I doubt it would be 1/2 the pay, however, if my pay was 3.8m and I had to cut it to to 1.9m, yes I see how that could be a real struggle.....not even going to talk about the quality of life change.

I'll chip in. And I am from Louisiana.

Who else is in? Let's make this happen!

On the sports page. I had to read a couple of articles to find the one you were referencing but it is there. Just click on my link, copy it from your address bar when the article comes up, then edit your OP. Enter the link there.

Exactly. This is all speculation by a sports writer in CO trying to feed the rabble and get a few LSU rantards reading the DP. 420 is more fun in Boulder and all of CO these days....there's your smoke.

No, it means SEC fans are a very bitter mean-spirited bunch of whiny MOFOS that expect thier coaches to bring a MNC to thier school every year.

Naw. If we're going to pay $3.8 million a year for a coach, we just expect him to know what the big numbers counting down on the big board are.

I think he means that SEC fans have suffocating expectations and maybe that it's hard with all the competition to run a clean, non-thuggish program like Les does.

If I were Miles I would head to Boulder in a flash. Money should not be an option because I am sure he has plenty but to live in Baton Rouge or Boulder if you have no ties to Louisiana would be an easy choice. Expectations at CU are not near as much as here either. He owes LSU nothing since he is not an alumni or from Louisiana so if I were him I would be gone!!!!!

Miles is not taking a pay cut to go to Boulder

You ever been to Boulder, Utah, Arizona or places like them?

If I hadn't been in Louisiana all my life and didn't have a large extended family here, Boulder would look like a mighty find spot to finish out my college career...pay cut or not.

Les Miles is staying at LSU and while the minority of very vocal anti-Miles rantards don't like to admit it, he's done a great job for the LSU football program. People who slam Miles are the same type of people who would buy a brand new Lexus and find something on the car about which to complain.

Right now some UF fans want to fire Urban Meyers. Georgia fans want to fire Mark Richt. If Saban doesn't win the SEC West you can bet some 'Bama fans will be demanding he get fired, too. There's nitwit fans in every conference and like everything else in college FB, the SEC wins that category, too. lol

There has to be something to this. Look at the list of candidates: former coach who retired years ago, 2 offensive coordinators with no head coaching experience, and the current national championship winning coach of the #12 ranked, 7-1, LSU Tigers who have a top recruiting class coming in.

He is also making $3.75 million per year, a number Colorado could not come close to matching.

Guys, there is something to this. Miles is disatisfied or he is being shown the door and is being looking for an out. Otherwise, even listing him as a candidate for that moribund program is ludicrous.

Based on salary and credentials, it would be like Colorado saying that Saban or Urban Meyer were candidates.

Dear Lord, thank You for Your many blessings. I do volunteer work. I help the poor and the needy. I give to the United Way and the ASPCA.I ring bells for the Salvation Army. I don't ask You for much. Please dear Lord, give me this one. Pease give Miles a one way ticket to Boulder, CO. In your name we pray. Amen.

First off I believe it is: Who pissed in your cornflakes?

Maybe I came on a little strong, but the point I was trying to make is that regardless of how much money you make you just don't uproot your family unless their is a serious upside.

I would dare to say that quality of life and salary are relative. Yes 1.9 million plus a great view is nice, but 3.8 million in a place where your family is settled (given the "family man" Miles is) would be better. Also knowing that the posibility of winning exists at LSU where Colorado will be a hell of a lot more difficult. Not to mention if this gets really bad I will be run out of town with $15million in my pocket and then I can choose to live anywhere I want.

Boulder may be nice but it is not that nice.
