Unless Bech can become a good blocker Mason Taylor will remain getting a lot of targets. If we replace Taylor for Bech the other team will know we are passing it. With Taylor you don’t know if we are running or passing. Guys we have freshman tackles it’s going to be tuff getting the ball to the receivers. I hate it but I think we will have to run two tight end sets and two receiver routes. It is what it is this year.

Hasn’t it proven again and again that this doesn’t help the line if done predictably as the defense now sends more?

Exactly and they can just overload, it's better to make them cover

If you actually watched the game then you’d know that pass blocking from the tackle position wasn’t a problem. They held their own most of the night.

If it makes feel better we're not max protecting at all. Idk wtf OP is watching but majority of our sets are 3 WR

Think about the Emery catch and run. That was an all out blitz and we sent the rb on a route

I'm not saying the scheme is good or bad. I'm saying OP is very wrong and there's no way to judge the scheme if your QB refuses to throw the ball

Kelly’s job is to win games
He will do it whatever way he wants to
We went from best offense ever back to Les miles era offense
Our oline and te play will be stout and that will win a lot of games
Whether that’s translates to playoffs and sec titles and a natty
We will find out
It may be ten years before we see offense again

I will say, I watched at my brothers on his patio tv. I didn't see WRs running open a lot.

I don't know if it's Daniels, or if it's Kelly and Denbrock, but Daniels has a pretty strict clock. He doesn't like to hang back there, it's a quick pass or he starts to move. It does look like he's beginning to keep looking as he moves, but after about 2 seconds he's drifting.

in a lot of ways, that is good. It plays into his game, and negates the passrush. Teams who scheme it won't go heavy blitz a lot. It makes him look for open guys sooner, which I think is why the TE is so popular.

Check the stats and see how many sacks the two freshman tackles have allowed this year. Not too many.

People don’t get that Daniels running ability is helping the tackles. Auburn wasn’t rushing to sack the QB. They were rushing to keep him in the pocket. That’s why majority of the time when Daniels went to run the lanes closed quickly.

Jones had a tough day. Both he and Campbell got bullrushed a few times. Campbell mostly dealt with it better but Auburn was definitely trying to catch them in bad form.

Charles Turner is a problem though. He continues to get blown up and shoved back into Jayden.

Road games will be very tough with the freshman tackles this year. But Saturday vs Tennessee we will open it up a LITTLE. Being at home.

Daniels had a ton of time to throw on Saturday. Auburn cluttered the defensive backfield with DBs, knowing Daniels would not push contested balls, and their defensive line held their lines to prevent the qb from scrambling.

Every team from here on out will do the same thing. What does the offensive staff do in response?

my issue is that we run almost no RPOs and thats a easy way to get the ball in play makers hands quickly.

Yep, I’m pretty sure 2 of the 3 sacks came from the LG spot. Coincidentally, that’s where we had our starter missing…

SKULLHAWK NAILED IT.

Daniels is scared to throw in tight spots. Other teams will use this against us. Auburn had a great def. game plan.

Against TENN we will have to score a lot. Tenn is much better than Miss state offense and def better than Auburn offense. There will be no coming back from 17 points down
