Last time I saw ole D Byrd he was in the quad saying something about how he needed some "Fat bitches" or something. It cracked me up.

Too bad he can't bring Randy in his prime with him everywhere.

very true, but at least he had the smarts to realize that...hmm, hey, we have this guy who can run deep and catch it. Not only that, nobody can keep up with him on those routes...hell he might score.

To be perfectly frank, it's not like he didn't earn that Super Bowl ring he wears. I don't think I'll be dissing any Super Bowl winning coaches who could assemble a Super Bowl winning staff.

But he never had a good offense when he was at the Ravens and he was an offensive coach. It's like Les Miles, the OL hasn't exactly been a strong point and that's what he played and coached.

I'm not knocking him for winning a superbowl, I'm just saying he has some of the same issues as Miles, and at least Miles has proven he can do it on the collegiate level. Career NFL coaches aren't really a sure bet in college.

Why not? Do you honestly think he forgot how to do it?

How many coaches have been successful after not coaching for 3 years? Its not like he was an all time great while he was a coach.

A little before my time for emotional attachment.

But yes, what Lester Earl did to the LSU basketball program far outweighs what Demetrius Byrd did to LSU football, you are right.

I'm sure he is. Doesn't make him any more or less an idiot.

Quitting on your team makes you an idiot.
Demeaning your teammates openly on facebook also makes you an idiot.
Further, demeaning the coach who recruited you and gave you the opportunity to get a free education... that you are STILL taking advantage of... also makes you an idiot.

I've seen the Byrd Man smashed at Bogies a few times this year. Love the Byrd Man.

He mad a nice catch but did a lot after that to sour me.

Brian Billick is an offensive guy, those Ravens teams had zilch offense. No thank you. He coasted on Moss with the Vikes and coasted on Ray Lewis and the rest of the Ravens.

I'm also hearing if Marvin Lewis is fired by the Bengals which its looking highly likely it will be a package deal - with Billick.

As long as we get Bill Belickick as our DC, then that could work.
