When Delpit was healthy, I'm not sure we've ever had a better pure safety.

And we have had some fantastic safeties over the years.

I read an article not to long ago, Just about Every scout at the combine applies their hand timed data to players’ 40 times


But yea. Means nothing lol

I think Delpit will be a great coverage safety in the NFL.

He was a much better box safety in 18 but improved in that regard later last season.

His 18 highlight tape is pure effort and adrenaline anytime he blitzed.

You mean the only thing he didn’t excel at—coverage? His tape overall is way better in the box and on the rush. He missed a few tackles this year up front but he got the wheels blown off him at least 6 times I remember.

I’m just a guy with an opinion and a set of eyes.

He is excellent in the box but terrible in space and coverage. I’m only going by the 19 tape- the most recent and most successful season this team has ever had. And he still struggled. Often.
