MIles needs to get both of them to return if possible.
Time for bad a-- LSU defense all year long.
Unless both are Top 3 rounds - stay

Welter had a decent game but we just can't ignore the previous 10. MLB is a glaring weak spot and if we are content with Welter, we are content with mediocrity.

IMO Jefferson and Thompson are our best options, but loston will play the next two games.

I think Jefferson is the best of the bunch.

The difference was as a team LSU did not take poor angles and lose contain. It's almost like they to a crash course in Geometry 101.

This.

When i saw him play early this year I thought the same.

For me its
Jefferson
Thompson
Loston
Martin/Sandolph

Eugene is better in the slot, but honestly, i like dwayne thomas there the most.

white, robinson as cb's, thomas at nickel, mills at dime, jefferson and thompson/loston at safety

Actually Welter was the only one I saw that was smart enough to rush the QB's outside shoulder, all the others rushed straight at him and then he went right by them. Welter knew enough to rush the outside shoulder thus forcing the QB to where other defensive players were. If he would have done the same as the others (straight at him) several plays would have ended up going good for Texas A&M.

It's freaking Johnny football. He didn't win heisman last year for no reason. Have you watched Scam Newton make NFL players look STUPID in the back field? Oh yea I forgot NFL played suck. Johnny will be doing same thing on next level albeit with less success most likely. Cant just throw the ball up in NFL unless you have Calvin Johnson or someone like that

ack Johnny football though? Welter was in the back field more often than not. He played well yesterday. I wouldn't guess minter last year got that many sacks against him either. Just give the guy a little credit. He has sucked most of year though

Agreed. #31 Didn't look like the same player last night. Was deliberate and aggressive and just looked damned good for once. He had a solid hit on JFF and played a big role in keeping his runs short.

I mean he hasn't had a good season at all but people saying he played bad yesterday proves that this board can put something in your head and you will believe it no matter what lol.

Welter had his best game thus far but he going to be hard pressed to keep his starting job next year.

I kept thinking he was going to lose his starting job at some point this season. Well we all know that hasn't happened.
