Oh shut the frick up. Im so sick of this. It was bad game and they still only gave up 20 pts (19?). Arkansas dropped 31 on Alabama. I guess they're defense isnt worth a frick either right? We have got to have the most pussy fan base in all of college sports.

Totally agree. You cannot give up 20 points on the road and expect to win.

Bad tackling. Lots of yards after contact. No pass rush. Three big plays down the field. Cannot believe they get two first downs running the ball in that last possession.
Still we gave up 5 sacks. A number of hurries. They knocked down at least three balls. Our Oline got beat as well
The bad spot no doubt a cheat late in the second quarter cost us 11 points. 7 for us and 7 for them.
Cannot believe the defense cannot man up after we score to go ahead.

Aranda has been out schemed by Mullen two out of three times. Miss st is going to do it again if we do not make changes.

So Mullen is going to coach MS State against us this year?
I’m failing to see your correlation that Mullen has out schemed Aranda so that means we lose to MS State THIS year.
If we lose to MS State it will be 100% on the offense. Their secondary is shite. If we don’t go in and pass the ball like crazy, then Ensminger really is an idiot.

Ultimately where does the responsibility lie with missed tackles, lack of physicality in the run. I put it on the Dc and HC for not getting the right guys and or not putting them in the position to be successful. Scheme is only one aspect of football, recruiting, teaching, and exection are other responsibies of coaches imo more important than game day strategies.

Defense was supposed to be elite. It hasn't played that way. Losing Chassion was huge. Front four gets no pass rush on its own.....AT ALL. When you blitz to get pressure, that leaves holes elsewhere. I don't see it getting any better. If this defense can't stop the run to any degree, they are toast.
