Had it been any player besides a former LSU one, you wouldn't be posting this.

It's funny and typical how some posters on here judge players based on who they are rather than what they do.

Dude's thuggish behavior yesterday was embarrassing to LSU the NFL and the Giants.
Perhaps Odell should have a conversation with Ruben Randall on how to act on the field.

It will be interesting to see what happens to OBJ. Watching the tape with @BaldyNFL right now. He threw a punch on 4 diff plays in 1st half

yet people still defend him

He threw a punch on 4 different plays in the 1st half alone

3rd player w/ 3 personal foul penalties in a game in last 15 seasons

Norman may have started it, but Odell spent 3 quarters taking cheap shots and then head hunting. It was disgusting and should not be defended.

What to do you think these same people would have said had it been Amari copper, Julio jones or AJ green?

Its like you clowns never watch a football game before. That shite happens all the time.

You're embarrassing yourself even trying to take up for Beckham.

That's a pretty skewed opinion blaming Beckham for that.

Here is the play in question.

This isn't anything new. Fans of certain schools defend or hate on certain players (Look at the MSB when Cam Newton is mentioned)

Let's be honest, LSU's reputation has been fricked since November.

C'mon even Cam Newton wanted to kick his arse. Norman is a POS himself too.

All I'm saying is both OBJ and Norman were in the wrong. The refs should have asserted themselves more.

Odell is a really good receiver, but the guy acts like a bitch when things get tough for him.

OBJ is a great player and most of the time represents LSU in a great way. In this case he was way off base with his actions. Whatever happened to showing up and letting your play do the talking ala jerry rice, calvin Johnson, larry fitzgerald, etc.

He's openly said he has anger issues. Hopefully he finds a way to fix that.

Also, I'd be pretty pissed if my team found a way to lose 5 games within the final minute of the game.

So does Beckham get excused for taking a swing at Finnegan after he threw his hands to the chin of Beckham immediately before Beckham swung back?

There was wayyyyyy too much trash talk, standing on top of opponents, and punches being thrown yesterday. The refs should have handled it in the first quarter. Their coaches also could have sat them out as well. There should be enough blame for many people yesterday. At the end of the day, Beckham will get the most blame because he has the biggest target on him and he acted the biggest fool. He lost a lot of fans yesterday, and may not ever be able to recover back what he lost yesterday.

I'm siding with this guy. Norman had the shitty "body slam" which eh really just dropped him after picking him up. OBJ intentionally went for a kill shot to that guys head AFTER throwing a punch. Both players are dirty, but OBJ is the national embarrassment right now. You can follow this one all the way back to CLM and his lack of discipline with his players.

Officials are totally at fault. They let it get out of hand. They should be suspended as well.

Yeap, so 3 years with Beckham somehow trumps the other 20 years of his life.
