The fact 3 of our best pitchers (Guidry, Ware, Cowan) didnt even pitch this weekend is a testament to how deep the staff truly is. I cant remember a staff looking this deep at LSU.

Out of all the pitchers this weekend only Mayers looked pretty shaky to me and he still managed to retire all 3 guys he faced without giving up a hit or walk. He was a bit all over the place in his pitches though, which has always been his downfall.

We'll see what happens in the SEC but i don't recall many teams overall that have had a staff this deep. Maybe a couple of those Florida teams when they had 3 1st rounders in their weekend rotation and pretty good relievers. Maybe some Arkansas teams. This years Arky staff is pretty deep as well.

Has LSU ever had a strike out to walk ratio better than that over a weekend?

It felt like that 2023 Wake Forest team had an infinite supply of relievers with sub 3 ERAs.
