We may have better WRs than some of these teams, but overall (especially on the lines) we aren’t playing better than those other SEC teams.

Sunshine pumper.

His decision is going to be hard because he has a woke administration looking over his shoulder.

Hiring a non-POC replacement for O isn't going to happen. Period.

So, your choices will be:

Shaw
Edwards
Bienemy

An 8-4 or 7-5 team that is competitive and playing hard is one thing, but a team that seems lost/confused/underperforming/can’t run the ball at all is not a good look.

with an offensive line it doesn't matter with the check with me crap, Matt Johnson looking so discombobulated, or the vanilla flavor of the defense, LSU would have been favored in every game but Bama.

- Arkansas was obviously overrated after beating mediocre Texas brand names
- TAMU was extremely overrated
- Ole Miss still doesn't have a defense
- Florida is below average passing and has only an okay defense
- Kentucky is overrated too (don't let the UF game fool you)

The shite OL could have duck tapped a lot of problems we have. The talent LSU has outside of OL is frigging filthy! The next coach, with a couple solid OL transfers and Will Campbell, will be ready to contend for a title next year.

Yes we'll out athlete those teams, but those teams will out coach LSU handedly.

Still possible to beat AM with their injuries.

Finish 7-5 (8-4 of ATM craps out) from nothing more than having better Jim’s and Joe’s compared to these list above.

We have far better athletes than UCLA and how did that work out?

O will not be able to get this train back on the track and will not be here for next season. When that trigger is pulled who knows. I am sure they are doing the math and possibly letting him have more rope so the with cause case is even easier.

Love O's passion but it is clear he does not have the acumen to lead a team with these expectations and history. It will be sooner if the team does not look prepared and gets embarrassed.

As for me, I'd give him one more season just to hear all the groaning from TD

So if you were AD you’d keep a bad coach just to see melts on a message board????

7-5 at LSU is similar to the postman delivering mail mon-thurs and taking fri-sat off with no one covering his route. In other words, it shouldn't happen.

LSU should NEVER finish a complete season (counting post season) with a single digit In the win column-EVER!!!!!!

The only hard decision Woodward will have will be who to hire as next head coach. The decision on Orgeron has probably already been made. It's just a question of when to pull the trigger.

This just isn't true when speaking about an O line that struggled with McNeese.

Woody knew when he was hired that all he needed was a small window of opportunity and Coach O was out. Back to back subpar seasons is the opportunity he was looking for to get a new coach in place. This is a 5 loss minimum season. Coach O won’t survive that after last years poor results.

exactly. not like we went 7-3 or 8-2 against the sec last year.

this is a continuation of last year by looking at the results on the field.

O needed to turn it around and hasn't.

Hope you remember that we fired a coach that was averaging 10 wins a season, and other than being maddening to the fan base and eccentric to outsiders, he didn’t bring nearly the level of embarrassment to the brand that Ogre does.

All those schools are in a better shape then they where before except maybe a&m and I'd argue they're in better shape too due to the boost in recruiting

if it’s obvious that we just ‘out athlete’ them like you say then what would that do to make it harder? They will have won in spite ofO’s ineptness, so I disagree- the decision shouldn’t be hard at all.

But, we haven’t heard about the “Vote Of Confidence” yet . . .
