But winning % means little in the sport since your average score determines rankings. In theory you could lose all your meets before postseason and be the #1 team in the country.

ok, but having said this do you think it is even remotely "ok" for a 36 year coach to have won the SEC once and finish in bottom half 10/12 years? National rankings are good overall and a part of it, but what about doing well in our conf.? Really, I respect your opinion, should she still be the coach? If so why? (and again, I am NOT even including in this her "attitude" in the LSU AD.)

I like beating dead horses, it's kind of my thing. Obviously, you know how I feel about her and that I think she should be our coach. I have to question you on your opinion of her attitude. I've taken my stance on her coaching philosophy and style of doing business. Also, her passion for our alma mater. You eluded to my comments about her similarities to Saban as being inaccurate. I am curious to hear your side.

I don't really care is the actual answer. Only 4 coaches have won national titles in the history of the sport I can't come up with someone to replace her.

I know little about gymnastics, so help me out. How do you finish in the top 10 nationally (9th last year and 9 out of the last 10 years) while having a losing record? Because of the unique scoring system.

True. In gymnastics, once you've lost 30% of your matches, and as long as you don't lose in excess of 60% of your matches, all lost matches will be (and I quote from the rules here) "inverted to count as won matches."

I have one vital question..

Do the fans chant SEC when the SEC wins a national championship?

Fair enough. I was just curious. Obviously, I know her from dealings with the AD and she has garnered my respect. I understand that often others will have different opinions.

And I think it should be noted that she was the SEC Coach of the Year 5 times and her squads have finished in the Top 12 Teams in the nation 24 times during those 36 years.
