It's time. You don't have to be the play caller Lane Kiffin is, but it's time for you to shine. You're the OC for one of the nation's elite programs. Our defense will hold its own. Ole Miss struggles on defense. There are no excuses.
Sincerely,

I have a question. If Barion Brown's TD doesn't get stripped away against Clemson, and Ju'Juan doesn't fumble at the 10 yardline and we end up scoring off that drive instead of ending with Nuss's bizarre interception, are we complaining about the offense at all right now? I think the vibes on this board regarding the offense and specifically Joe Sloan would be tremendously different if those 2 things happen.
Miami scored in the last 2 minutes to get from 19 to 26 points. LSU, in the same situation, kneeled the ball. Yet, Miami is being regarded as a top offense in the country, and LSU's offense is being shite on by its own fanbase. There's no doubt that run blocking has been very poor, but would we really be that concerned about it if we had finished these drives? Optics would be considerably different if we beat Clemson 24-10 and Florida 27-10. We were this close to doing both of those.

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we’d all have a Merry Christmas!

I've given that some thought. I think after Clemson for sure. Even without that TD, I thought the offense played fine.
It really should've been 27-7 if you count our missed FG and the FG we gave up to Clemson after Bauer Sharp's fumble.
In the Tech game, Nuss missed Barion Brown on that opening drive for a TD and we had receivers running open that dropped passes that would've resulted in big plays. Can't put all of that on Sloan.
Florida was the only game this year where I truly felt down on the offense and the gameplan. I thought it felt stale and predictable, but we will truly see on Saturday.
I do predict the offense will have to step up and help the defense out a little. Not because the D isn't great, but I think they will have a "down" game by their standards against Kiffin on the road. If this was in Tiger Stadium, I think we would blow them out. I am hopeful that we see a good offensive showing on Saturday even with the troubles on the O-Line and running game, but JuJuan Johnson looked like he had better vision and was hitting the holes more quickly than Durham.

If you are going to take into account all of LSU’s “what if” moments you have to do the same with every other team, which I can’t imagine that you aren’t doing.

Fla has a good defense. Carson Beck was flustered that whole game and Fla actually could have won the Miami game in the 2nd half.
LSU vs Florida, BK was super conservative cause Nuss was still hurting, and cause Florida was giving us the game with the INTs.

Still blaming Sloan for Nuss inaccuracies? YIKES

I’ve said in other threads and I’ll say it again.
Sage Ryan is a starting safety for Ole Miss.
If Sloan can’t find ways to exploit that, he should be fired on the spot.

It's funny how speculation that reflects positively on LSU is mocked, but speculation that reflects badly is regarded as gospel truth:
"IF" Clemson and Tech and Florida didn't suck on offense, then we wouldn't have a top rated defense.
"IF" SLU wasn't a rent-a-win, then our offense would have struggled.
We're 4-0, "BUT" all our opponents suck so it doesn't mean anything.
We beat a top 5 team on the road, "BUT" they've lost two games since so it doesn't count.
If we're not going to consider "IFs" and "BUTs", then we're a top 5, 4-0 team with a top 10 defense. Period. So all the complainers should just quit whining and enjoy their Merry Christmas, right?

Dear Joe Sloan,
Don’t even frick with running the ball. We all know where our bread is buttered. I’m talkin’ 5 wide, empty backfield, maybe a dash of Tray’dez Green. Pull your dick out, slam it on the table, and Sling the rock all over the yard.
Signed,
Tiger fans

Legit request..I’d be happy if we didn’t run it on every second and 10 after incompletion. Setting up 3rd and 8……..

Dear Doofus Fan,
How can you speak for me you don't even know basic football. Speak to the IAABC (I Am A Better Coach) mob. You don't speak for me or anyone else who knows football.
Sincerely,
Kikicaca

So you want them to rush 3, and have everyone else drop back into coverage? Ya know, Nuss hasnt exactly been incredibly accurate, and now you want even tighter throwing windows?
Thank God you arent our OC!
