Lot of stuff flying around about the defense not buying in because some of the coaching didn't go along with all the protests and such. I know Bo is pretty good person and a better coach than what we had last year. Not a historically bad coach by any means anyway. Either way, we had to move on.....he wasnt gonna work out if the defense was gonna look like that.

Except he actually was a historically bad coach last year. The results speak for themselves. The job he did was piss poor.

Can you imagine how terrible they’d be under some old fart like a 69 year old Nick Saban? Thank God that we got somebody young and relatable instead?

Almost true. Somebody says stuff like this every year; sometimes it's coaches, sometimes it's players.

I do like to see it from players. It might hint at some real buy in and dedication.

Players have to believe in what the coaches are teaching. This is exclusive of the talent level and effort. If they don't believe (i.e. buy in) talent and effort will be wasted to one degree or another.

Things like Andre's post, while not definitive, tells me the guys that have been around a while are likely buying in. It may be isolated, or it may be indicative of something across the team. And that's why I do enjoy seeing it much more than Orgeron (or any coach) hyping up players and schemes (a' la last year and the defense being better).

The two things Orgeron hyped the most pre-season last year were fails before the season ended...
1) Bo's defense
2) Arik Gilbert
