I don’t get how you aren’t understanding. I’m not saying that a player shouldn’t be confident. I’m saying that just because a coach or player says something in a press conference doesn’t make it true. Every single coach in the country is currently saying good things about their team to the media.

new center Braelin Moore "sets up the rest of the group for success." "This group is going to be really good."
OK Butter, be really good when the lights come on against Clemson and win the game; talk is Cheap. Put up or Shut up!

I have sneaky feeling deep down in me that this team is about to wreck some shite this season.
But I could be dead wrong and wouldn’t be surprised if I am considering all the other years I’ve been burned with preseason hype. That’s why I refuse to get too excited until I see it

Right. So the only negative quotes from coaches/players, videos & information from the media that gets released should be taken as fact while any positives should immediately be dismissed. Got it.

I’ll believe it when I see it…. I mean the offensive line

No, no single quote from a coach or player should be taken as fact, good or bad.

“I think we’re going to score a lot of points, and I don’t think a lot of people are used to LSU scoring 40, 50, 60 points a game." ~ Joe Burrow

I don’t understand what you’re trying to prove. Players and coaches can be right. They can also be wrong. We have know way of knowing.

Sometimes there are hints that back those quotes. The hint to Burrow's quote was the offense's performance in the Fiesta Bowl to end the previous season. There are hints to having a solid/good offensive line this season yet you refuse to acknowledge the hints. I've provided them in this thread but like always you want to thrive on playing contrarian.

Do you take pride in being the dumbest motherfricker on this site? I hope so. It is an accomplishment of sorts.

It’s wild that you are so upset that I think the offensive line is a question mark. I’m not even saying they are bad. Just that’s it’s a question mark.

Brian Kelly still likes what he has seen from LSU's offensive line, in part because new center Braelin Moore "sets up the rest of the group for success." "This group is going to be really good."
Well this is rather encouraging.

I think it's wild that you hear & read whatever you want to & twist it into something negative.

What specifically are you referring to?
Let me ask you this, do you think you have this team 100% figured out? Like you don’t think there is a single question mark at any position on this team?

Are kidding me? You've been running around on the board for the last 2 weeks telling everyone how bad the offensive line will be & arguing with anyone who said anything positive about the unit.

RB after Durham. Berry is 5* but inexperienced. Jackson has to show growth & development. Johnson is an unknown.
FG kicking. Ramos has been inconsistent & doesn't possession a strong leg. There hasn't been much discussion pertaining to FG kicking at all out of camp.
Punter. Punting has been a problem establishing field position. Is there an improvement there?
Both FG kicking & punting rarely gets talked about but it can be the difference in wins & losses.

Can you link these posts for me? Why do you have a problem with my analysis of the offensive line? I’ve said I think we improve at the center position, will have a slight decline at the tackle position, and it’s TBD about the guard position. Do you disagree with that?
Btw, the majority of my conversations about the possible struggles of the OL and team in general have pertained to week 1 against Clemson, not necessarily the entire season.
