Pollock’s motor might be running, but it’s not pumping blood to his brain.

That take doesn’t make a ton of sense for two reasons.

1)Our entire starting oline was out with covid for like ten days. Who was even blocking for Brennan then? So the offense looked shitty without the starting oline? Ok.

2) Is our defense going to suck too? Bc this take doesn’t explain Shelvin opting out at the same time

Well we havent seen the last of our players to opt out. I think we’re about to see the entire team opt out because of this point; If Myles Brennan burns a year of eligibility this season, a breakout happens causing the season to end mid-way through, then he only has one year left to play. I think the fact we have an absurd amount of our offensive line in quarantine two weeks before their first game just because they believe they came in contact with someone positive has been detrimental to the confidence that we can play a full season.

The ncaa already said this year doesn’t count against eligibility champ.

The extra year of eligibility applies whether you play or not, to prevent the exact scenario you described

people think last year was some random event, when really it was just LSU finally playing to its potential.

The 2019 offense is not the one that doesnt make sense, the previous 20 are.

Herbstreit and Pollock
It didn't help that LSU torched both UGA and Clemson (denying Herbstreit's sons rings) and that his alma mater Ohio St choked too.

Yeah the passing numbers won't be the same but the offense is going to be productive

Wonder his reason Lawrence staid? Their offense seemed quite inept vs good defenses.

Yeah I take that back. Just saw they voted that in last week.

I still believe my last point about the offensive line is a valid point as to why there is movement to opt out. If you even walk outside, you have the chance to come across someone with COVID.

Getcha downvotes ready, but 16 years ago he played his last game against LSU, he balled out, and they embarrassed us 45-16.

So I don’t think that’s it.
