Beyond the obvious... Aranda was amazing as the LBer coach. Clark was on the field a lot last year, looked like a stud. It's not just a scheme problem we have, we are missing his expertise of Xs & Os

DA, you are missed.

But he gave up a lot of yards to Ole Miss in a double digit win so everyone on here was ready for him to GTFO

Just watch the 2nd half of the Clemson game to see the adjustments he made to shut them down

Until the end of last year Everyone said Aranda was another Tepper or Alot of fans called for his head. I might have too. But I knew Delpit and others were injured and they couldn't tackle but when they got healthy, "The Master Plan" came together. I was happy when they hired Pelini because I liked his agressive defenses. I guess RPO etc has made things more difficult but I still think this is covid/don't care , political/don't care. I know we need some players who will go pro to stand up and LEAD ! This needs to happen now ! Oh yeah, I didn't want Aranda to leave either

Big deal...that defense played differently because the offence had their back(edit: unbelievably awesome). If they were needed they did their job. That defense was good. That boy was fast.
When it came time to play and we removed a potential problem/distraction in Divinity, we had to move players around. Once they got use to their assignments and came together, it was on.

We held Clemson to 25 points.

I appreciated him when he was here. Of course, I am not an over-reactionary dipshit like 99% of the posters here, either.

The idiots on here have no idea what Aranda meant to this staff. He had everyone ready, including the coaches.

To be fair. Look at the players in the field that DID NOT quit during the game, midway Thru the season or before it started.

I give more credit to Jacob Philips and Patrick Queen for this.

Yea Clark is being asked to do more than he did last year. he’s not a good MLB at all, but he is the best we have right now.

He is missed for sure. But it’s not like they fired him. He left to be a head coach and doesn’t appear to be doing that great of a job either. Rhule left that team in pretty good shape and they’re pretty awful. Unfortunately so are we. We def miss Aranda but it isn’t anyone’s fault he’s gone. The man earned the opportunity to coach. Bo was just an unbelievably bad hire.

To be clear i don’t think you’re insinuating that he was fired or forced out. LSU fans always seem to be pretty dumb. The term fan isn’t short for intelligent that’s for certain. There were people actually mad and wanting to protest because we fired Lesslie Miles for gods sake. Tells you enough about our fanbase

He is definitely missed.

He gave up yards but he always had his guys in the right position to make plays, and he was the best at halftime adjustments. He knew when something wasnt working and would fix it.

"Pelini is a bum and only had success because of the talent"

This makes much more sense

Aranda was good. Much better than what we have now. His scoring defenses declined every year that he was here though.
