Moscona said the same thing earlier this week!

Agree or disagree?

He has size to be an OLB in a 3-4. But looks like we run 4 DL majority of the time.

He was built for dave aranda’s defense. I’m sure jones will use him correctly

When people say he was “great” in 2019, they’re talking about him playing on the edge in the cheetah package. The guy never really played all that well with his hand off the ground. Pulling for him but I don’t think he’s an SEC Lb

He's pretty much the same size of BJ Ojulari. I think he could play with his hand in the dirt

I think by whatever metrics are used to grade pass rushing aside from just stats, he was actually the highest graded pass rusher on the team on 2019.

What they are really saying is that he's floundering on the inside.

I don't think he'd be a "great" pass rusher. But, he may be more productive in that role vs. one where he has to read and react.

Agree. I'm too gunshy after watching last year. His anticipation and instincts at reading the ball carrier is not the best.

i agree with this...i think it would benefit him since you wouldnt have to think as much with your hand in the dirt you just got to go get the football

Clark just can’t get off blocks or tackle in space. Use his speed for an edge rush or a blitz up the middle. He CANNOT play middle linebacker. Period with an exclamation mark

The end position needs help.

He is big enough to play end.

Hopefully they fix the end position this year in the recruiting class.

Ali gaye and anthony could be gone.
Then you only have ojulari for another year.

There isn't much on the roster at end.
I do like that they put eric taylor at end

I think with Jones now at DC, Clark will be a much improved player this season.

I agree that he should be much better. I refuse to believe that he can't be a difference Maker on this team after what he showed in 2019, even if it's just a situational rusher. It's the coach's job to put him in a position to succeed

Agree. He has zero instincts for filling the correct gaps and can’t shed blocks. Saw more of the same from him in the spring game

He looked very slow to react last year and, at times, it looked like he was avoiding contact.

Not physical enough and has trouble shedding blocks

Said it before I'll say it again. He's back in the same style of defense he played in high school. He's going to show out. He's a situational guy. Put him on the field in a situation where his assignment is obvious and he'll jump off the screen at you. Put him in a every down, read and react situation and it's gonna look a lot like last year
