We have more talent than every team in our division other than Bama. If we finish fifth in the West it won’t be because of a lack of talent.

Dude these same morons have had A&M beating LSU since they entered the league and they have yet to do it.
Did y'all not listen to Jimbo when talking to the SEC media panel? He knows he has some work to do. LSU is in a much better position than A&M. MS is going to get a totally different LSU team in 2018 and I hope they come into the game cocky AF. That will be a treat. Good luck running the ball like they did against us last year! Won't get those penalties like they did last year either. Can't wait for this season to get started.

It is incredible to me that some people are ok with this.
The previous coach was 11-1 against MSU and 5-0 against A&M and two years after he’s gone so many are content to say the new coach just needs more time
I truly don’t think this is how things will shake out, but if it is I will never understand how anyone can excuse it.
TAM jumping us in year 1 under their new coach when we’ve beaten them 7 straight times and MSU jumping us despite playing under a first year ever HC after last year’s historic display against a team we had absolutely owned for 20 years would be an undeniable disaster and it will only get worse.
Anyone that can’t admit that we are on a sinking ship at that point is part of the problem.

Doesn't matter what any of the pundits think.
It matters what the players and coaches in our locker room think, and how they prepare, practice, and play each week this Fall. I'm with them.

Strictly talent alone, LSU is 2nd or 3rd.
If LSU finishes 5th in the West, I wonder how many people will complain about O doing so little wth so much talent like they did from 2008-2015.

I'm not here to say LSU is being underrated. I think we will be better than projections based on defensive depth alone, but our offense needs to have significant improvement.
BUT WHAT I DON'T GET is why everyone thinks A&M is world class at the start of every season. A&M has even more to prove after their shite show season, so why do we assume a coaching change (who just came off a disaster of a season) will all but guarantee them to be this 9-10 win team? LSU is not about to lose to A&M.
They are @ Auburn, Bama, and Starkville. Plus Clemson (who will win) and LSU (who will, of course, win!)
Not buying that.
